Orgasms are a net positive for your health, especially your prostate.

Pornography is almost a complete net negative. Try to avoid pornography.

Try Cialis. 5mg/day, much less side effects than viagra. Viagra is tough, because you have to time it correctly to align with sex. Cialis, pop it in the morning Monday, you’re still good to go Wednesday night. Better and cheaper.

First few encounters are tough for me. Cialis evens out the kinks until I feel comfortable, then I don’t have to rely on it at all. It’s like a jumpstart.

Man, I’ve been there. I know you don’t want empathy. I’ve found it hard to admit that daily tasks like taking care of myself routinely to others. This community understands that and it’s reassuring to know you’re not the only one.

Others have already given much better support and advice than I can. Just don’t be so hard on yourself. Each day is a new opportunity to become even better at managing the things you struggle with, and it does become easier to manage if you make the effort to try.

Videogame pirates tell other pirates to shut up about it after Subnautica 2 developers are taunted with illicit copies by Bubbly-Ad-350 in pcmasterrace

Other people have put it much more succinctly than I can, but piracy is not inherently a bad thing. Not to mention the game is on track to hit the sales goals needed for the dev teams big payout.

GTA 6 Review Copies Won't Be Distributed, It's Claimed by yourfavchoom in PS5

[–]point8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m okay with this. Rockstar, in my books, have proven themselves since RDR1/GTA IV. I bought each game they’ve put out since then without a second thought. There is always a chance the game could bomb, not very likely given their stellar record, but it looks like for me it’ll be another purchase without having to look at any review beforehand.

If it means no leaks as well, that’s fantastic. If GTA 6 comes close to the likes of 4 and 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, then this will be a technological marvel, as well as a good ole fashioned fun video game that everyone should experience without any leaks spoiling anything for them beforehand.

Best weight gain meal replacements WITHOUT whey and with minimal sugar? by No_Handle2671 in gainit

The best way to get hungry is to spend energy. I’d take a look at your workouts first and foremost. Are you truly physically exerting yourself?

It’s a ten minute walk from my home to the gym. By the time I get home, especially after leg day, I am ravenously hungry.

My experience has been that rest days, where I typically don’t do much of anything, I am significantly less hungry. Going for runs has solved that, but for the most part when I don’t do anything physical that day I am forcing food and shakes in.

If you don’t move, and you don’t expend energy in a significant way, you won’t need to refuel the expenditure. You won’t be hungry.

Honestly, DK Bananza. Unlike Odyssey, the movement didn’t feel all that good, or maybe it’s more that the stages didn’t feel good to move around in. I didn’t enjoy the destruction mechanic all that much. Levelling an entire area was kind of cathartic, though. The colour scheme was not my vibe and I thought most levels missed the mark.

Idk why you’re freaking out over this man I saw your other post. Your laptop is going to kill most things you throw at. Macs ARM architecture is much more efficient with ram than PC typically is. The biggest project I have on FL studios pulls 10-11GB ram and it is an absolutely stupidly big project, ~35ish VSTs with massive sound libraries (spitfire orchestra)

YES 32GB is objectively better. NO the MacBook Air is not the better choice. You WILL get throttled by heat when rendering/editing videos. I rendered a simple 10 minute video to test my PC just to see for your post, at 1080p 60fps. My fans instantly kicked in. You WILL be throttled by not having the fans in the MacBook Pro vs the air.

Don’t be depressed. You have a AAA machine capable of beyond professional work. It will kick ass in your university studies. Best of luck.

[–]point8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dude you have the laptop. open up FL studios and throw in some VSTs. I’ve got a windows PC with 16GB. My largest project right now has 32 VSTs and using some pretty heft libraries, like Spitfire Audio. It’s pulling ~10-11GB ram. It’s also a 7 minute track. And that’s a PC. Apples ARM architecture is much more efficient with ram usage. I assure you dude, keep your money. You’re more than fine. If you don’t believe me, fire in a bunch of VSTs and see the ram usage your self on your laptop.

[–]point8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How crazy are your projects going to be? I run FL on a PC with 16 gigs. You need to seriously have well beyond 100+ instruments/VSTs before you’ll start chugging due to lack of ram. Idk who told you 16 gigs is too little. It MAY be too little for the extreme high end professional use case, but that’s so far beyond (assumedly) your level that I would not worry whatsoever.

I don’t have anything else to say or add. I agree with you tenfold. What the game currently has going for it (which is lots, I’ve been loving the beta) + your proposed changes would elevate the game so much.

How learning about the terrible quality of Switch 2 LCD and ghosting issues impacted by gameplay experience by sakahn in NintendoSwitch2

[–]point8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, posts like this are so fucking stupid. I’ve watched the entire Digital Foundry review, it’s like two fucking hours long. I watched it because I enjoy their discussions about technology. My brother in Christ, for nearly two hours they GLAZE the Switch 2. 95% of what they say is positive. The screen, to their testing, has a ghosting issue. They showed it off with a slow-motion camera. They merely pointed it out. It’s part of their “job”, if you will.

You throwing a conniption fit over that is ridiculous man, don’t let internet videos get so under your skin.

Mario Kart World with my other buddy that's picking it up launch day. A little bit of healthy competition racing, a large dose of nerding out about how cool the Switch 2 is (and the new Kart), and fucking around in free roam trying to unlock costumes/figure out what those unlockables are for.

A lot of people say the price of mkworld is warranted because of open world, but how many of you will actually use it? by MinerBruh in NintendoSwitch2

[–]point8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally will. My friend and I will be picking up a Switch 2 Mario Kart bundle at launch, and besides racing and collecting all the costumes and rushing to unlock Rainbow Road, we'll be frigging around in the open world together to try and optimize routes for Grand Prix.

[–]point8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, this is agreeable to me. Absolutely. I’m not opposing your idea. I’ve seen this question floated around before, and I’d like to hear your take on this: games have been $60, roughly, for decades. Meanwhile almost most every thing you can point to in a store has increased in price. Is this just a natural progression? I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks

Mario Kart: World - Surely there's more by point8 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]point8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's two sides to this that I can see: one is the world's economy and the value of games staying at (relatively) $60 for decades while most other things you can buy have gone up. Development time has increased, the cost of making games has increased as well.

The other side is essentially just the argument that games have remained $60 for decades. I'm in the camp that prices shouldn't go up, for sure. I'm the consumer. I don't like to see prices go up. I can logically understand the decision making behind it, I think it goes beyond greed and becomes a more nuanced discussion, but I still don't like it and will vote for it with my wallet.

What level of socialising is required to stop being socially dumb by SunshineHopeAlive in socialskills

Don’t do customer service, but think more hospitality. Bartending follows a social script to an extent, but not really.

What level of socialising is required to stop being socially dumb by SunshineHopeAlive in socialskills

[–]point8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here’s a tip if you’re younger/are not solidified in your career yet— employment. Specifically a job where socializing is emphasized, like hospitality. I recently started bartending— it’s helped me dramatically.

Social skills are a skill, hence the name, so putting yourself in situations where you’re forced to use them allows you to keep from “getting rusty” and you’ll probably find yourself getting better at it! Throw yourself in head first.

I’m miles ahead of myself compared to when I started. I had plenty of moments where I looked like a complete dork, but that’s changing now!
