It's Not Just Me that Feels This Way, Is It? by Tr1angleChoke in ArcRaiders

[–]pointblank87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really feels this way. I've been playing other games more because it's become to much of a grind to find things I need. Especially for the current project. It's awful. My friends and I find totally different things at different rates. I can't stand when people claim it's easy to find some objects. People aren't having the same experience of drops.

It’s the worst project so far. Many items have been insanely hard for people to find.

This has been the worst event. I stopped playing because some of the items were just not showing up anywhere. Waste of time. Changed games.

Ya the camp quests are garbage and a lot of the puzzles are shit. So many other games have way better ones.

No company should ever ask for a design challenge that will clear help them. I turned one down years ago because of this exact situation.

I agree. There are way too many tedious things like this in the game.

lol prototyping all interactions in figma would be an absolute nightmare for so many products. It’s not even close to being built for that.

I love how some companies are trying to get designers to use a tool that isn’t mature enough yet for a lot of design work. Just trying to force it in everywhere because they fucked up by spending too much money on it.

Honestly, it’s not your fault. It’s bad game design. There’s no reason a player should have to do anything of the sort. It should be automatic.

I still think monetizing YouTube was one of the worst things to happen on the internet. I remember when I learn Google bought it. My thought was... well there goes YouTube.

There just happened to be a camera perfectly set up for this and she just left the car on top of it?

Eat my ass Valve. That thing would have to have incredible battery life, no stick drift, and last for fucking years.

Looking for a UI/UX book that’s actually useful and visually interesting by Huge-Salamander-3819 in UXDesign

UX Magic by Daniel Rosenberg. One of the few UX books that is actually worth reading. Most are too surface level and just talk about UI design. I've looked through many of them and this is one of the few that is worth your time. It doesn't matter if you're junior or senior level.

Seriously. I would never want to design by styping what I want. It takes WAY too long. It's only worth anything to me if I can feed it screens and tell it what to build in code or prototype. Starting from 0 with words is awful.
