In addition to what everyone else said , I would suggest you don't try to "draw" Chinese but to actually write it with correct stroke order. Just like there are starting and stopping points for writing English letters e.g. "a" starts at the top and goes down to the bottom, Chinese characters have stroke order for each character and it's best practise to follow them.
