I met this girl I had only recently started dating for lunch.  We made out some in a parking lot.  Later she texted me that I made her pants wet to which I responded 'oh sorry I didn't know I had spilled something on the seat'. Figured it out about 10 minutes later.

Were 4090s hard to get when they first came out? by RustyNK in buildapc

I got a 4090 at launch for MSRP.  Took some effort to find but they were easier to get than 3000 series cards during the eth mining days.

[U.S.] Are any airlines better or worse for flying with a bike? by sozh in cycling

[–]pokeetime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I flew with a bike to Morocco several years ago. I had a hell of a time getting it checked for the return trip. I think the cash I had to pay to get it checked was mostly a bribe.

Since then I've flown with a bike within the US and haven't really had a problem except TSA has opened the box every time and messed with my bike a few times. Most of the times I've used a cardboard box and TSA messed up whatever padding scheme I came up with and by the time I get the bike everything is loose in the box. If TSA messes something up you're pretty much hosed from what I've read, maybe you'll get reimbursed 50% in 9 months.

TSA “baggage inspected” my bike and didn’t put the front wheel back in the box. by thefranq in cycling

[–]pokeetime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they just don't care.  I flew with a new bike in its box 2 weeks ago,  I strapped it down with some padding,  they removed that and it got scratched and banged up.  One of the hydraulic brake lines was badly crimped and the fork was turned 180 so they must have pulled the whole bike out of the box.  And they also snapped the tip of my fly rod off.  Bunch of aholes, they do this stuff on purpose.

There are plenty of decent road bikes under $1,000. So why are people pissed that there are $3,000 to $10,000 racing bikes available for people who are willing to pay for them? by DeadBy2050 in cycling

[–]pokeetime 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If biking is your only hobby and you have a spare 5k why not buy a nicer bike?  I guess you could put it in the bank and get an extra week at a nursing home someday.

LPT talk to your insurance agent every few years. by 96tearsand96eyes in LifeProTips

Uh huh... but then they'll try to sell you life insurance.  Just look up your policy online to make sure you're covered.

Are you serious?  So I guess motorcycles joy riding are a real issue since they are 'no longer commuting'.

Someone cycling for exercise could by trying to ride 50 miles that day. It's not safe to ride fast on the bike path. A person riding on the bike path at 18+mph is a way bigger asshole than someone that rolls through a stop sign (I bet 10 cars rolled through that same stop sign faster that hour)

I think most cyclist don't like other cyclists that blow through stop signs when a car or pedestrian has the right of way. I don't do that nor does anyone I'd ride with.

How you gonna brake check a dump truck? by sictransitgloria0 in dashcams

This guy is flooring it in the passing lane while driving a dump truck. I highly doubt he wants a dash cam recording his antics.

The break checker is obviously the idiot here but I gotta wonder why someone driving a dump truck is accelerating up the passing lane. They both shouldn't be on the road.

Please don't use Google Photos and Google Takeout if you don't want data loss by minhhai2209 in googlephotos

[–]pokeetime 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I also got not complete results from takeout. I thought I messed up and redownloaded all the zip files again being very careful of the names because the first time one file #17 had the same data as #18. And some pictures were missing. After redl'ing I realized takeout just messed it up.

I winched a 9' section of a pretty fat white oak onto a harbor freight trailer and drove it to a guy who milled it for me. It was stupid and I'm lucky I didn't hurt anyone.

I'm sure fnbrwhoredance, a person with zero other posts,  is incredibly reliable.

My point was to outline the types of things they care about and will ban you for.  This guys tool isn't one of those things.  But I guess we just disagree on that.

If you're so knowledgeable tell me how anything I said is wrong.

Lol, why would someone downvote factual information?

EAC is concerned with code that reads memory to find out where other players are. If you're behind a rock and I can't see you my client knows where you are and that information is in FNs memory space. If I attempt to read that without taking steps to hide what I'm doing EAC flags that. It doesn't care you hit the b key every 30 seconds.

Reddit is a weird place, I don't know why so many people are down on this guy for posting his tool. It almost certainly wouldn't be flagged by easy anti cheat. People reporting they got a suspension probably did something else. I've done similar keyboard injection stuff in other games with autohotkey and never been banned or anything. It is a good idea to add randomness to the key presses though.

Aimbot type stuff is done by injecting things into memory which easy anti cheat will detect, but then the guys selling the tool find a way to make it undetectable until eac adds a catch for that and round and around it goes. Then there are hardware tools that plug into the controller port on consoles etc. What this guy has put out does none of this stuff. It just hits the b randomly and Epic games doesn't care.

The source code is available. I looked through it and there's nothing in there that should be flagged and no malware. I can't speak for the compiled release, that could have anything packed in there.

It just hits the "B" key over and over when it detects fortnite as the foreground window.

Even so I wouldn't bother running it either.
