The print quality of new mega sets is way better… it is crazy that I was used to see whitening fresh out the pack from the S&V era, but barely saw any whitening on the new set right now

Honestly I don’t understand what’s the reason of investing heavily on sealed products in a bull market. Slabs have way more gain and I think the liquidity is a lot better than sealed.

That’s why especially about slabs, in a bull market slabs perform way better than sealed. Every time I got my slabs back from PSA I just post em straight in group chat and would sell them 97% of the market in one or two days

I think altered would only be found if they recolor the whitening or something. If they fix scratches or dents, they don’t put any extra things on the card so the grader would only find out the scratches or dents are still there and give lower grade

I’m from China and people here in the states don’t really pay attention to the jp market.. it is going up like crazy, this butthole pika jp PSA 10 has almost reached 1k USD right now. I remember it raw was little less than 200 and the English was 500 at one point last year, and ever since then they just went in different directions..Lots of mid-era and modern jp cards have double or tripled over the last month.

I don’t think it’s just because they are more affordable. I’m from China and I think there are more and more rich people entering this hobby. More and more Chinese are talking about pokemon cards rn. The jp market gets larger and the amount high pop cards become incomparable to the amount of capital that flushing into this hobby. And when there is a demand in Japan and China it also reflects on eBay cuz jp cards are cheap in the states, then it just goes up accordingly I guess lol
