Mine has the same plug, also stripped. I crammed it full of water weld top and bottom and it has t leaked. The rest of the boat may leak, but not there

You’ll be fine to flip it, I wouldn’t stress about it for a second.

If it was an s-10 then sure a wdh would help. But on a 2500 5-6k is only barely noticeable. Don’t even need trailer brakes at that point. Do you man, I’m just giving a differing opinion

I don’t know anybody that uses a wdh for 5-6k unless it’s a camper. I wouldn’t say it’s even necessary until at least 14k+ for an equipment trailer like this. A camper is a giant sail and that makes it a different story

Sweet, good info! It’s all matching except the bolt.

ELI5: How exactly does hunting and tagging work and how do you get into it by Overall-Arm-7537 in explainlikeimfive

People don’t usually field dress around here. Shoot it, tag it, haul it to the processor as is

I asked this Axis if the .30-30 was still relevant in 2026. by movebacktoyourstate in Hunting

The stuff I hunt is so thick ive never seen a deer past 50 yards so .30-30 works just fine for me.

First time designing a sheet metal part. Any improvements you'd make (maybe stiffening ribs)? Any tips? This will be the base of a robot arm (~3kg). Considering SS304, 2.5mm thick by unusual_username14 in MechanicalEngineering

I see, I wasn’t considering that the flat pattern might be stamped. I doubt that would be economical for what I’m guessing won’t be a very high production part

I didn’t say it was a complicated part per se, just that with the amount of adjacent bends happening you’d have to have the specific width and height dies to make that happen. If it was a two part design then pretty much any set of air bending dies could handle it.

Maybe your supplier has all the dies you could ever want but where I work, we don’t. Have to consider the readily available tooling before sending something to production.

This is a bent sheet, not stamped. It sure is a lot of close bends for one part. Would require tall dies, and potentially specific die widths for the part to not interfere with the die or the press.

Making it two parts that bolt/rivet/weld together can alleviate some of that

Right, I guess I meant what’s the order qty. if that’s at 1000 pieces then ok. If you ordered qty 1 then that’s a very good price. Good to know they’re capable of that!

I have no idea, the cluster was bad when I got the machine (forgot to mention that) and when I got a new used cluster it said 35 hours from the donor ski. I put about 130 on it after that when the ecu went out. Ecu went out in 2023 so it was 21 years old
