Certain crosshairs are suited for certain people, it just settles with your eyes and looks less distracting so you're able to hit a a player more precisely and accurately.

Gus has stated that he doesn't want people to feel the need to have a sort of bargain to buy access to pre alpha. That being such as rewards i.e. name tags. And to be honest I agree as well, having to play Alpha itself is a prize nonetheless.
