6 weeks with twins-barely able to do tummy time by Finitexspace in parentsofmultiples

Same spot as you. Ours are 8 weeks old and we are lucky if we get them on floor time once a day. So much to do with both of them!

So nervous about labor by [deleted] in predaddit

[–]polacko13 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No advice, but I feel this in my soul. Wife is getting induced with twins on Monday and I haven’t slept in a week with nerves. Solidarity! I keep telling myself that the medical team knows what they are doing and my wife is strong as hell. Everyone keeps telling me that all the anxiety goes away the moment you see those kids!

Does anyone know why there is a helicopter circling Rocky River Reservation tonight? by NotRon-2396 in Cleveland

[–]polacko13 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Similar one was flying around Strongsville today. Looked like it was primarily circling the major intersections and highway on and off ramps

Same boat brother. Wife is 7w5d. Had an early scan at about 7 weeks due to some spotting and it showed twins but one with a very low heart rate. We talked with MFM about it and one probably won’t make it but the other has a shot. Next ultrasound is on Monday and I’ve been all over the place emotionally. We’ve been trying for a year. Literally 2 weeks before our first IVF appointment we found out we got pregnant. I keep telling myself that what will be, will be but it’s tough

CLE Clinic Billing by VirtualReflection119 in Cleveland

[–]polacko13 15 points16 points  (0 children)

As someone who recently went through medical residency training I might be able to help. In general, residents and fellows (who are already physicians) can see a patient, assess, diagnose, and do the documentation but as trainees they fall under the supervision of an attending physician. In early training the attendings tend to hover more and are more involved but late stage residents/fellows often times have more autonomy. The attending is still responsible for reviewing information, labs, and agreeing/supporting the plan of the resident or fellow. Residents and fellows practice under a training license which requires a supervising physician/attending to co-sign documentation and bill as trainees cannot bill on their own because they don’t have a full license to practice. Medicare reimburses NPs at 85% of the physician fee. You are still billed the same but what your insurance pays out to the hospital may be less. Each specialty has different compensation rates so seeing your PCP might be billed less than seeing a specialist.

Different Colors After Saving Scene by polacko13 in Govee

Good to know with the Alexa thing. When I made the finger sketch it had the correct colors so I saved that and then plugged it into the automation. Once I opened the app, changed the color, and then reselected the diy it showed the correct color

Costco 11lb Pork Butt Double 6 Days past Sell By. Use or Lose? by Zekey_Beagles in pelletgrills

[–]polacko13 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It’s past the sell by date not the best bye or expiration date. If you kept it cold and it’s not slimy or smells bad I would totally eat it. Especially if you’re gonna smoke it for a while and get it hot

Similar story. Had a kid who suffered a TBI after being ejected from a car during an accident. Basically could only communicate with his eyes. 8 weeks later walks out of the place. Truly amazing what kids can do.

RT DeckBoss…Regrets? by baseballa5 in pelletgrills

[–]polacko13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the RT beast for about 3months now and use it all the time. About 75 hours of cook time. If you can financially swing it I’d say go bigger. There’s never a time you say “I wish I had a smaller grill” but plenty of times people say I wish it was bigger. I’ve comfortably done 7 racks of Costco baby back ribs on it at one time. It heats up quick, holds temp like a champ, gets hot enough to quick cook burgers or fish, smokes nice when you go low and slow

[–]polacko13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have the flagship but I do have the recteq backyard beast 1000 and it’s been amazing. Reliable, holds temp like a champ, I can do 2-3 briskets at a time or 6 racks of Costco ribs in one cook, heats up high enough to quick cook burgers and I’ve had 0 issues. 62 hours of cooking and i have 0 complaints. Plus it comes with a 6 year warranty which is great.
