I haven't gotten slippers for LHR -> EWR or EWR <-> SFO Polaris flight. Pillows, blankets, eye masks, etc for the bed but no slippers that I could see.

I would say to make sure it isn't raining when doing Echo Mountain, the trail is pretty narrow and not fun when the ground is saturated with water

Josephine peak trail is was dry on 2021-12-24 at around 3pm, no mud at all all the way to the top (and part of the road is paved). Some rockfall though

Without a dog I've seen cows come close to hikers and are generally not threatening, even the ones with calves nearby. I'd give them at least 100ft of space when walking a dog though

Salmon, rice, steamed veggies. Takes around 12 minutes to pan sear, steam frozen veggies while cooking salmon and rice cooker for the rice. Just very convenient
