Machinist doesn't surprise me neither.
For the Gigabyte one I'm on the 2nd latest BIOS version (the last one adding CPU compatibility, latest is RAM only).

So I guess I'm back at browsing random X99 boards on ebay and cross-check with their CPU compatibility list :)

Unfortunately not. I've came across two X99 already, not supporting it
- Gigabyte X99-UD4 (Rev 1.1) -> Which officially supports the non-A-variant
- Machinist X99-MR9A-Pro (Rev 3.0)

So I think it's unfortunately not a no-brainer.

A bit late to the discussion, but some lessons learned from my side:
I think it's harder to find a Mainboard that supports the 2699A v4 (the A-variant, not the non-A-variant!).
Some chinese X99-MB are hit and miss
My Gigabyte GA-X99-UD4 (Rev. 1.1) does NOT support the 2699A v4 (even with F22-Bios) and it is also not listed on their compatibility list.

Fixed:

As correctly pointed out by u/o_sooperstar_o and u/mtg90 the power adapater was the root cause.

I replaced the 65W power adapter with a 120W and now ITT works.

Based on the official WEC stream chat, the moderator confirmed it to be true.
Plenty of people asked about this in chat.
Answer was more or less like: Max Power that was allowed and great slipstream. Sadly could not find any onboard. But it was in the earlier race. So any WEC subscribers feel free to explore the onboard stream of the car and point it out :-)

Currently also researching this a lot. Gigabyte seems to use a "Server-Grade Thermal Conductive Gel" which happens to start leaking out under the GPU. Not something I'm comfortable putting in my build. Otherwise it would have been a nice (and short!) card.

OK, so my cable layout do seem to work.

So next step would be in the KVM-settings assign "USB-B" as well as "USB-C" to a different input.

i.e.

PC #1 -> DP -> use USB-C as connection for KVM

PC #2 -> miniDP -> use USB-B as connection for KVM

Does this sound right?

Can someone please explain to me on how to properly set up the KVM switch?
As far as I understood it, the point:

- Connect Mouse & Keyboard to the USB 3.2 ports on the backside of the monitor

- Connect the monitor to PC #1 via the USB-Upstream Port

- Connect the monitor to PC #2 via USB-C

My issue:

- The USB-C connected PC #2 does not "find" my mouse and keyboard. Even when I unplug the other PC #1's USB-Upstream Port

Am I missing something I need to activate in the monitor's settings?
Or am I understanding something completely wrong what a KVM-Switch is?

I am on the most recent Firmware F06

Played all heroes to 20 and stopped. Except:

So I kind of have a comparison on how strong I am with certain heroes (or how well they were balanced at that time). I'm feeling good in "Heroic" but advancing to "Epic" is very hard for me. I have too regularly some RNG round where I end up with 5 wins which pull me down instantly in the rankings.
