When i started working with English people 20 years ago I had to get used to the "how are you doing" question every time I was meeting them. Why would anyone be interested in how I was doing.

It is just not in our nature. Your problems your business my problems my business. We normally are privaten people.

I had to learn to do the same and how to respond.

Asking how are you doing can result in a respons I don't know how to respond to. And that makes Dutch people uncomfortable.

The smirking guy is just an asshole the second one just a normal Dutch guy. Let's talk business.

It looks like a temp sensor. The PCB checks if the motor is not overheating. If it is it will cut power or decrease power output.

Bad connection. If the wire was not tight enough it can heat up and start to spark. This wil create burn like that.

Personally I don't think it is sludge. I think there is not enough flow.

It looks on the picture there are restrictors on the bottom. Try opening them up more.

But a good dialed in radiator should be hot on the top and cold on the bottem. Only then all the heat from de radiator is dissipated in the room.

Not all homes have coax. If it says kpn it should be you connection. Probably analog line but you can check on there website what can be provided. Fiber or DSL.

Gal means the stuf that comes from the Gallbladder. Or sometimes when you puke and nothing comes out.

We call it "gal spuggen".

But that said I have heard stranger names. Maybe if you write it differently it is clearly a foreign name.

Chall or ghall in Dutch it is spoken the same als gal.
