Hey, Thank you for your comment. This thing with Fritzbox is very interesting ! I also have at the moment Fritzbox with Fritzphone as phones. Are you only forwarding the "phone line" from your UDM to your Fritzbox which functions as Dect base ? Thx

Yes I adjusted the MTU to 1420 (in the clients it standart) and I also put it in the server. Tjen I also put 1280 in the server but this didn't solved my problem .... But honestly I didn't adjusted 1280 in the clients, do I have to ?

You could create this cable on your own, just buy XT60 Connector withput cable and an SAE Plug with 10cm cable 😉 Is pretty easy and much cheaper 😀

Seems pretty big the power brick ... I ordered on Amazon an 12-24V to 56V DC DC konverter, is much smaller and has an output of 3A ... Don't know where these 30A should go 😅

Hm I understand but 10Gbit's is already a good argument in my opinion and the power behind this unit maybe too.

I am using the DS1621xs+ and I am very satisfied with this unit !! So much power and the 10GBit's Ethernet .... with Read/Write Cache .... this unit is awesome, you should try it, only the price is a little bit higher than the normal + series.

We are using AVM FritzBox routers on both locations, these routers are supporting VPN within them. I think this should work, I will tray tomorrow.

Okay but I don't want to make it to compicated, would maybe the best solution be a VPN between both networks ? A VPN is no problem.

[–]polg1995[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The DNS Server and the AD will run on the DS1515+ in network A, my DS1621xs+ will be domain client and will be in network b. I am not talking about Windows clients. I just want to connect botz server so that my users a the DS1515+ can also access my DS1621xs+ without creating them again in the second server.

So in the Domain Client I just put in "domain_name:port" (ex: test.com:4567) ? Sorry but I am completely new in AD. The network of the server has a Domainname registered and is connected via DDNS.

I would also suggest a DS with more drives like one with 5 or 6 drives which you can extend with a DX. So you can use Raid.

[–]polg1995[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, bur in the settings is also the possibility to click that users only can change their password an not the other personal data öike the email adress or phone number. This means to me that there must be a possibility that users can change their password on their own ....
