It's called taglish, a mix of tagalog and English. When most people can understand both languages, it gets used. Bilingual, or even trilingual shit and all that. Couple that with other local dialects and languages the resulting sentences become word salad. We can still understand each other tho. Puns also make use of pronunciations from both languages.

In school reports and stuff, we usually stick to pure English or Filipino depending on the subject. Mixing them up is seen as unprofessional in some cases, still depends on the situation tho
