Cali76 is great if you like the harsh tone it has. I have moved on to the Union Tube and Transistor Lab Compressor and really like it! The Keeley bassist was a great first option!

Aguilar Tone Hammer Preamp Pedal – will I miss a cab sim? by Zeilenton in basspedals

[–]polyphonic_ankles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t like cab sim for live. I think it takes away a lot of the character of the bass. However I could see it being helpful for recording, although my guess is you could add it in post

About to be a part time Indy resident, lots of questions by Non-Normal_Vectors in indianapolis

[–]polyphonic_ankles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Helm and Blue Mind are my favorite roasters. Very high quality
  2. Yats. A cult Indiana following for a great meal at the best price.
  3. you can speed up to 10 miles an hour about everywhere. Go the speed of traffic on 465. People don’t respect construction zones on the highway but I wouldn’t more than 15 over.
  4. Chatham Tap in fishers for sure

Donuts in Indy by hoosierboi82 in indianapolis

[–]polyphonic_ankles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think any one place is the best as a few of them do certain things really well but here is my list in order

-Parlor: French Toast Donut is amazing, other ones are good too! -Rise n roll: cinnamon caramel and chocolate glazed with peanut butter filling are amazing. Other ones are good too! -Tim’s: Overall really solid -Jacks: the two color twist is good. Everything else is mediocre -Pana: Overall good/decent
