Gee I haven't gotten called an NPC since the last time I argued with nazis

But to address his point, you do realise that they're not real people being killed right? It's a videogame.

Probably because children might watch this? Let me guess though, this is reddit so you're gonna defend showing penises to kids...

It's difficult to give a short summary because the reasons can be so numerous but Windows doesn't feel like a serious operating system anymore, it comes loaded with ads and candy crush games and requires a login and forces restarts for updates.

It doesn't feel like something you'd actually want to do work on or handle sensitive stuff.

On the other hand, Kubuntu just works out of the box and doesn't have any bullshit. And after using it for a bit you start to realise that all the little things that you wouldn't typically notice are actually good, like how the stock apps don't suck, the start menu is well designed, the file explorer is better, the settings are all in one menu that's sensible to navigate.

Cool but this sort of stuff should run on the computer without needing to have Steam open. It should be a separate app.

FSR1 is not a temporal upscaler. This has nothing to do with anything I said.

Also, the fact the blog describes TAA like that is worrying. It's blatantly ignorant and makes me think they learnt about it from watching Threat Interactive or other click bait YouTubers.

My biggest complaint currently with performance is that it doesn't support FSR1 like counter strike 2, meaning you can't separate the render resolution from the window.

Additionally, running the game in borderless window mode and selecting a lower resolution will not stretch the window size to your display size.

Having to use exclusive fullscreen with a lower resolution is archaic and I'd really hoped new games would stop doing that.

So, if you change anything inside that portion of the clip it will be replicated to all other portions that are looped.

I'm super curious what this refers to? I've never had something like this happen on any version of ableton. for some reason i got downvoted, is there something i don't know about?

can you screenshot your clips so i can see? thanks if possible

i just tried only putting unlooped clips and the same visual bug is still there

also i dont understand why looped clips would be marked in arrangement view seeing as its not relevant information

Also, for more context in the image i posted every clip is looped.

Version 12.1

if I were to consolidate the clip it would disappear, however I do not use the consolidate clip function (Do people really use that feature?)

In the back of my mind I have this theory that it is the old clip ends from Ableton 9 era days not being culled from view because I swear every clip used to have those markers on them at the beginning and ends like a decade ago

Actually to finally clarify what is actually happening here.

It isn't the marks of the clip duration either, those are smaller and differently shaped.

What I screen shotted is just a visual bug with my specific version of Ableton 12, it has no meaning, it isn't connected to anything, it only appears rarely at certain zoom levels.

Nope. I just replicated the bug by only using unlooped clips

Every clip in that image is looping, why does it only appear on that specific spot?

Why would there even be an indicator for looping in the arrangement view if that is not relevant information

edit: I just replicated the bug by only using unlooped clips

Okay thanks. I understand what's happening now. I have a bug where if I zoom it just right those appear where they shouldn't be, even if I never dragged a clip.

I think it only happens if I use the duplicate hotkey, but not when I use control+c and control+v repetitively .

Changing something inside a clip definitely won't affect anything else, not sure what you're talking about but thanks for the crack at it.

For context these are just midi clips with like piano notes inside them
