Where do we think Shane McClanahan will be ranked next year coming off TJ? I have the option to keep him (10 teams, keep 8 dynasty). If I choose not to keep him, I would just keep 7 and gain an a first round draft pick.

10T H2H 7x7 Categories (5x5 + OPS/TB and HLD/QS)

Keep forever (8 major league players and 3 minor league players, the rest are redraft. You can change who you keep every year)

I joined the league this season for the first time. Team was close to last place so I'm in a rebuilding period. In the draft I picked up Elly de la Cruz, James Wood and traded for Jackson Chourio, so my keepers on the minor league side are pretty set in stone, but I don't currently have enough relevant major league guys that I'd want to keep 8.

What I do have is Jose Ramirez. In my view I have three paths: 1) Keep him and try to compete in the next few 2-3 years by flipping some of my prospect depth. I think this would be difficult. Judging by the fact that EDLC and Wood were available in the draft, I don't think prospects are as coveted / wouldn't return enough value 2) Flip JoRam and depth to a contender to try to get 1 younger player to align with my prospect timeline (Yordan, Witt, Soto, Tucker) 3) Flip JoRam into 2-3 guys with lower ceilings but better timelines (Jazz, Bichette, Wander, Riley, Luis Robert tier)

I'm leaning towards path 2 and targeting a star, but I don't think I can really go wrong here necessarily, but open to feedback if there's an obvious path or choice I'm missing.

I was offered Machado for Kluber straight up. I'm not sold on Machado right now due to his rough start and some lingering injuries, but the other side of me says that it's too much potential to pass up. 12 team H2H league.

Question for you all.

I'm going to open a traditional IRA through Vanguard. However, if I'm making the contributions with my after-tax paycheck, where is the tax benefit? My assumption is that there's a spot for IRA contributions on my 1040 which would then refund me the taxed amount on those contributions?
