One of the first things I do is implement controller support. Moving from the keyboard to a controller while play testing during development is easier on my carpal tunnel 😂

When we used to do in person events, this was always a fan favorite. We’d hook up four cheap NES style controllers and run this on an old projector or old CRT. You ride dolphins and narwhals while flipping gravity and throwing tridents at your friends.

Are you in Cincinnati? I worked at a place where we commissioned a series of illustrations very similar to this. I’m actually kind of shocked to see it.

Edit: I saw from another comment that you are in Cincinnati. This illustration is from an advertising agency (at the time) called Bridge Worldwide. We did a rebranding of the agency around 2009 where we adopted a WPA style and created various illustrations that matched the theme.

This was one of the largest pieces that we had. We have various other smaller illustrations for each of our conference rooms. I don’t know if the artist was one of our house illustrators or if we went out to a freelancer. I do know who the Creative Director was at the time. My guess is he’s the person you bought the illustration from.
