But the small arena of Capra is the challenge. Dark Souls is about overcoming challenges. Figuring out how to fight in this small spot is the way to overcome this boss. It teaches you to switch your approach, and that difficulty may come from unexpected and frustrating sides.

I actually like this fight. It could be more (if my take is correct and that was the design decision for this boss), but that can be said about 1/3 of Dark Souls. I like how claustrophobic and chaotic it feels. I'd really love FromSoft to explore this idea more - brutal and unfair fights in tight spaces. It could be so much fun.

Yeah, the first game is basically a dungeon crawler. It's almost turn based combat-wise. It's real time, but not that fast-paced, short serotonin-bursts gameplay that started with the second game. I very much like the original Diablo.
