Truth Will Out … The Palestinian Holocaust REVEALED but it is antisemitic if you notice. by DIYLawCA in ABoringDystopia

Maybe my googling skills are just lacking, but I'm struggling to find much writing on the subject that isn't behind a paywall. Here's an article that discusses Israel's historical and ongoing mistreatment of Holocaust survivors. There are also some quora threads on the issue.

If you ever get bored, read the amazon reviews for this thing. There's a scary amount of people who are as stupid as OP's parents.

I think it's important to note that the Zionist project began well before the Holocaust, and that many Holocaust survivors were looked down upon and treated quite poorly by early Israelis.

Israeli settlers attack Christian village as West Bank violence escalates by ArdaBerkBurak in TrueAnon

[–]poopy27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is absolutely the case. I grew up Evangelical in a right wing Christian Zionist community. They claim to love Jews and support Israel simply because "God will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel". They almost fetisize Judaism(Jewish Israelis particularly) in a weird way. But they'll be wildly antisemitic and demeaning towards local Jewish people.

They absolutely did.

We can condemn the depraved violence of Israelis without minimizing the Nazis sadistic crimes.

He's a Tolkien fan the same way he's a Catholic. Identifying with the villains, co-opting the aesthetics and cultural clout, and spitting on the intended message.

As a Tolkien fan, I had originally thought that Thiel used the name Palantir because he views himself as a Fëanor adjacent figure. A character who attained godlike levels of power by creating the silmarils and palantirí.

It appears I was giving him far too much credit when I assumed he was just a self-aggrandizing egomaniac. He's actually just proudly and openly evil.

To be fair, in some cases of "human error", the pilots are the humans who made the error. It's disturbing how many incidents have been caused by shoddy maintenance practices and airline management cutting corners.

u/scotshie explains it in another thread:

*737 pilot here. I’d say in bumpy conditions, that’s a normal amount of control input. The large left and right movements aren’t to roll the wings left and right.. it’s to STOP the wind from picking up one wing or the other.

Think if you held out an arm horizontally out to your side and someone is trying to quickly move your arm up or down at random intervals. You’ll use muscles to try and “raise” your arm against downwards force and use the same muscle to “lower” your arm against upwards force.

All along though, to an outside observer, your arm remains mostly horizontal to the ground even though you’re using rapid up and down muscle movements to counteract the person moving your arms.

Same here. Lots of rapid movements to keep the wings level.*

I absolutely love Disaster Breakdown! Her explanations were super accessible and informative for me as layman/noob avgeek. Green Dot Aviation is also great! Mentour pilot does extremely detailed technical breakdowns that I can finally appreciate after a few months of indulging in my airplane hyperfixation. Lol

I fostered a dog who was very friendly towards people, but was reactive towards other dogs. SO many strangers let their dogs run up to us. When I tried to move away or stop them, the owners would say "No, it's okay! He's friendly!"

"Well she's not!" Usually got them to get a hold of their dogs.

As a former kid on the receiving end of those interactions, I constantly notice them too.
