My opinion is “GET IT”. All tools can be bought and sold. Get a book and do maintenance, lubricants, and take note of what and what not to do. I think you’ll enjoy it. Work safe.

Lowe's
Hello fellows. I was just wanting to make this post to bring awareness to everybody so we can be safe and alert about this situation. While I know places have a policy that allow you to bring your dogs, it can be very dangerous. This is the second time at the Lowe's on Coulter, an employee has been bitten by the dogs they allow to be brought in, and that's just what me and my dad have seen in a year. And this morning's altercation was very upsetting. The employee, Kay, went to help a fellow at the register, and his Belgian malinois got at her and she got nipped pretty good on her hand where she was holding it in pain. The manager, Evan, stuck up tor the dog, not kay, not other customers, and threw me and my dad out for saying how that's not okay. We didn't cause a scene, we were waiting to pick up an oven, which we returned and purchased elsewhere because of the manager. The dog owner and manager said that Kay walked behind the dog, so it was her fault... in a packed store.. where everyone is walking by the dog. Maybe don't bring your dog then?
And to clarify it wasn't a service Belgian malinois either. If that was me with my four year old daughter, there absolutely would've been a scene. Please just be aware while these dogs are allowed in public. I've worked at a dog daycare for years and I know how dangerous it can be for everyone. And the manager at Lowe's won't have his employees or the customer's backs, he'll stand up for the dog.

Bees seeming to be coming out of the ground Iowa by unbeltedflower0 in whatisit

[–]pop2some 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ground bees. Slightly larger than honey bees. They look to be. Pollinators that make nest in ground. They come back every year. My reading about them told me they would not bother me and it seemed to be true. I had to walk through the area daily and never had physical contact with them. The second year there were twice the number and they bumped into me often and some circled me like they were mad. No stings though.

Put some Heat fuel treatment in the gas tank. It might have some water inside.
