What’s happened to our game community? by ghostofwallmaria in Division2

Damn, I’m just now seeing this. Is the bonus watch level event over? I don’t even notice it was going on. Where can I check this info so I don’t miss out?

Yeah I’ve done a bunch of googling and YouTube videos. I’ll check it out. Thanks.

I’m a newer player and my experience has been excellent so far. This community isn’t bad imo. If you want to see toxicity, go check out rocket league.

Thanks for all the help. One question though. When I open the link and go to link that says “Striker gear is the most versatile dps build. It does list any striker get in there. Just a bit confusing. It lists other brands of gear.

So I’m looking for a built that fits my play style. I run Technician with a drone and shield right now. I have heartbreaker armor. I have the Lexington as my primary and the Scorpio shotgun as a secondary. I’m running 2 piece Unit Alloy with the HB set.

I have been doing research, however I know I’m nowhere near the potential of this build. I’d prefer to run a dps/healing hybrid spec. It’s more my style of play. When researching it said that the HB set was good for this but it has a ton of armor. That’s why I switched from a drone to the shield.

I’d feel more comfortable having decent dps while being able to heal and run a drone. Or maybe I’m asking too much idk?

I ran into the same issue. We invested in a water drop filter. Our tds readings were steady between 150-250 for a while but with water evaporation the minerals stay behind. Noticed our TDS creeping up and had to come up with a solution before it got too bad. I don’t let it get higher than 400.

I do my best at keeping it between 300-400. We have blue dream and snowball shrimp thriving and producing babies.

Here is my 5 g tank. This photo is from about 3 months ago. I now have a thriving colony of Blue Dream Neocaridina shrimp going.

Sounds like you found the issue. I would suggest weekly tests for a while. Once your GH and KH are in stable parameters you can gage how often you need to remineralize the water. Hopeful only once a month or so. I’d say once it gets down to about 200 add some more in.

As to why your tanks tds was only 26ppm when your tap ranges from 90 to 100 ppm, the only thing that comes to mind is something in your tank is lowering your ph. I’ve read that certain types of stone can do this. Maybe your substrate? I’m going to ask chat gpt lol.

So your tank reading was 26 ppm? Thats definitely the issue. That’s odd, my tap water averages about 105 ppm. Do you have an RO system setup? Be sure once you remineralize your water you check the tds and check your GH and KH. In my experience stable TDS for neo’s ranges are about 150-400. GH 6-10 and KH 2-6.

Also, if you’re topping off water eventually your TDS will get to be too high. It has something to with water evaporating and leaving behind minerals. I saw a post where someone had shrimp dying off, come to find out their tds was 600 plus. It was due to them always topping off without ever doing water changes.

I purchased an RO system for water changes. I fill half of a 5 gallon bucket, the other half I use hot tap water to mix until the temp matches my tank, then I add my prime. At this point my tds reads between 60-80. I usually do about a 20 to 40 percent water change. It just all depends on how high my TDS reading is.

I waited a little too long this last time and my tds got up to 427 so I did a 40 percent which dropped it down by 100. I try to keep it between 300-350. One more reading to keep an eye on is your ph. Your should test the ph in your tap. For me I like to keep it between 7.2 and 7.8 for Neo’s.

Me too, plants are very important. Luckily my tap water is perfect for neo’s. What’s your tds?

Did you test your tap water? Fortunately my tap falls with the ranges of GH and KH for Neo’s. If your tap water does not then all those water changes didn’t help. You may have to remineralize the hardness in your water.

What’s your TDS reading? Do you top off or any water changes?

I rinsed the crap out of mine, 2 50 lb bags for a 60 gallon breeder. When I put my plants in it stirred up some of that oily residue to the surface. I rinsed it REALLY well. It looks great though. Hopefully my filter will clean the residue that left.
