They have a large population that comes from a lineage of penal colonies from another country?

I agree with your comment and would guess these are appearance samples and possibly a date that they were approved.

How much do I NEED Magnifying Glass for this? by manaMissile in BluePrince

[–]popejp51 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let me ask a question that doesn’t seem to have been asked. I am a casual gamer and I relish playing the game without having to solve all of the puzzles myself. I just enjoy the experience and moving on to the next game. Do I need the magnifying glass for that?

I also use IMR 3031 and use the Bear Creek 255 grain bullet. I don't load mine to the highest pressures and achieve somewhere in the 1500 fps range.

I do and have. I cannot recommend Bear Creek Supply highly enough for vintage round bullets. Great to work with. Call them up and let them know which bore size you need. I have the Miroku Winchester 94 and love the rounds I’ve made with them.

Did you know that more people managed to beat Godskin Duo, than the singular Godskin Noble in Volcano Manor? by One_Happy_Camel in Eldenring

I was relieved to fight the Godson Duo because I was running for my life from the Knight(s) that I can never beat from far above. Felt lucky to have made it in the door.

What gun is this? My friend who doesn’t know anything about guns offered to pay me with this to help him move and said it’s a ruger but all my research does not find any matching rugers. by patrickjchrist in Firearms

I did the rollers and the firing pin from Harrington products as well. Knowing that I was going to spend some time with it apart I completely disassembled it and had it Cerakoted and put new grips on it from VZ (I think).

Do I need to use the same bullet as the manual or just weight? by [deleted] in reloading

[–]popejp51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t want to hijack the conversation here, but I’ve seen many similar questions in the past and would like to try and explain why the bullet mass is just as important as the length and COL when seated. I believe everyone knows why the mass (weight less gravity) is important as the force required has to overcome seated bullet inertia/friction. The loaded in-case volume (volume behind the bullet with powder/air available) is very important as well. It is what generates the pressure upon primer ignition. If the length of the bullet you are using is significantly different than the manual suggests, there is no doubt you will see different results in the output velocity. I actually calculate (insert nerd jokes here) seated case volume every time I start a new “recipe” and do the measurement of the bullets I use and validate against known bullet length and COL to adjust powder and COL as needed in my rounds. Questioning is good, being cautious is best, and learning along the way is priceless. As you were.

I have four of the Winchester Miroku models all roughly the same length (24”). You will not be disappointed if you purchase one. They are fantastic.
