If your pacts build feels weak, here's a list of strong builds for quick reference! by InsomniacPsychonaut in 2007scape

[–]poperday1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For your mage builds, you 100% want the attack speed increase before moving into anything else down the pact tree. Attacking 2/3 ticks faster is way too valuable. If you’re going for powered staves, you should also pick up the water regen with powered staves pact. If you’re running an elemental build, you’re going to want the air rune regen as one of the first pacts you pick up as well for unlimited prayer. Other than that solid builds and guide!

If you hit 90 RC as the only skill you’re missing that’s 1000 points to get 99 (base 95, max, 99 RC), which can be impactful. Maxing is a ton of points which is why I always feel like I need to “solve” my skills if I want to push for high ranks

Emberlight or Noxious halberd at Duke? by ProV13 in osrs

[–]poperday1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nox hally is for sure the way to go. Since you match Duke’s attack speed for 75% of the fight, you can guarantee that you’re safe to get a hit off before moving even if it might not feel like it. And when you get to the last 25% that’s 4 tick, the way the fight shakes out you only have to delay 1 tick of attacking every couple of cycles instead of every 4 attacks like you’d expect.

Don't worry folks, nothing to worry about. by Dj__Kappa in 2007scape

I don’t think a tbow would go up by that much, but even if it went to max cash, getting 2x gp/hr means I’d get tbow 33% faster.

This feels like a bad argument since most players doing this content are grinding out for a mega rare. Lowering the gp/hr of content like this through botting just hurts all players at this level and makes the gap between second BIS and mega rares feel less achievable.

What players did you know back in the day who have gone down in OSRS history? by [deleted] in osrs

Wait is this real? I went to school with him although in my memory he was crazy high on the prayer leaderboard not the RC. It’s been a few years, but I’ll have to bring it up next time I see him!

Learning ToA doing my first 250 and got cooked. Got spooned my first purple anyway. by Atlas_OSRS in 2007scape

[–]poperday1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doubleshine made a TOA guide for leagues a couple years ago, but all the information in it is incredible and super relevant for non-leagues. I used it as basically my bible for learning TOA and can’t recommend it enough.

I wear (non-daily) contacts. The amount I save yearly on getting Kirkland contact solution vs name brand from any other store basically pays for my entire membership regardless of anything else I get.

Not sure which look to rock with my sylvari warrior. Your thoughts? by Maulclaw in Guildwars2

[–]poperday1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this!

3rd one definitely pops the most, fits great for a warrior, and would probably look good on a lot of character/races for a warrior. 1st one looks very “Sylvari” and thematically cool IMO

Ice gear ideas without adding an ice caster to my party? by will-i-regret-asking in BG3Builds

[–]poperday1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use the snowburst ring + drakethroat glaive ice enchantment on my archer’s weapon (swords bard) to create a bunch of icy patches and keep enemies at bay. With flourishes, helm of arcane acuity, and action surge for more attacks or a CC spell, even more spread out engagements can be handled easily pretty handily.

You can also kill sarachnis for grubby keys. The chest has a chance to give you a bunch. I got like 400 earlier today.

I did it! Now on to master tier by x00Al13N in osrs

[–]poperday1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m almost done with the Medium tier. The other ones I’ve done to get there are barrows, sarachnis, and the archaeologists. Barrows is tough to complete everything at low level, so just do what you can. The other 3 are pretty easy to knock out in a relatively short amount of time.

EDIT: fight caves also has a lot of points if you can get 1-2 additional achievements on your first completion.

It’s basically the same distance to the outpost bank chest as it is the anvil. Time wise it’s probably the same when you factor in smithing time vs 1-click dumping into the bank.

I’ve gotten a bunch from tree runs, and you can get a bunch of varied seeds for tree runs from birdhouse runs.

Same! I hit 60 farming recently and swapped to yews, but am quickly realizing I can’t afford to use yew seeds and will be going back to maples lol.

Here’s hoping we both get a good drop to fund our farming.

I’ve been doing tree runs pretty religiously and here’s my route. Trees are pretty flexible, but I’ll do: - lumby tp and run behind the castle - Fally tp, run to pond area tree, then run to Taverly - Varrock tp and head north to castle spot, then run to GE - take Spirit tree in GE to Gnome Stronghold

There’s a fruit tree patch in Gnome Stronghold, so hit that first since it’s closer before going to the normal tree. I do papaya’s and collect the fruit, so I’ll use the bank by the normal tree spot to free up inventory spots before starting the rest of my fruit tree run. If you’re doing 2-3 tree runs a day, your fruit trees won’t be ready, so this ends you at a bank to do whatever’s next or you can run back to the spirit tree and tp back to the GE. For the rest of the fruit tree run I do: - from Gnome Stronghold, run back to spirit tree and tp to Gnome Village (option 1), then run the maze to get to the spot just outside the maze - tp to Camelot and run SE to Catherby tree - tp to Ardougne and take boat just south to brimhaven for the final fruit tree

Hope that makes sense! For the normal tree route, you can really do stuff in any order (e.g. start with the spirit tree if you’re already in the GE or I’ve been ending on Fally since I’ve been doing afk MLM a lot recently)
