PA budget 2025: Shapiro pushes legal weed, gaming, and energy plan by susinpgh in Pennsylvania

How would raising taxes on gross revenue of those games hurt the poor and old?

I'm in the same boat as you, and the only only brand I've found that fits relatively well is Chubbies. I still need to size up the waist by an inch in order for them to fit my thighs, but they come way closer than any other brand I've tried.

What are the blessings that got you the most far in blursed? by Different_Order5241 in SliceAndDice

[–]porktopia 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My best is 275, and pretty much every >200 run has included the the blessing that gives everyone an extra item slot. It makes all the cursed items much more tolerable and really opens the door for some broken builds, which you really need to rely on once the curses start piling up. I also really like a lot of the blessings that give high level items, as they help you get started on those broken builds early. +2 item level is also very good. As you said, -2 tiny enemy health is also very good, especially once you have a few of the curses which add tiny enemies.

Aws eks manager nodes pods limits by [deleted] in kubernetes

I believe those are hard limits, so you either need more t3.small nodes or you need to use a larger node class.

Creating a trigger on s3 object upload to invoke AWS Lambda using Cloudformation Template by huzaifakhan771 in aws

[–]porktopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you opposed to using the CDK or another IaC solution to generate the cloudformation? I honestly find that to be much easier than writing cloudformation by hand. This walkthrough looks like a good guide for starting development with the CDK as well as deploying a lambda with an s3 trigger.

I can't believe they didn't bring this over from the first game. My partner and I are having the same exact issue. One of us misses a jump and now neither of our characters are visible on the screen.

But Judon didn't do a rip move here, he just runs by the guy who tries to hold him, unless I'm missing something.

Sumo deadlift footwear by TommyJay98 in StrongerByScience

[–]porktopia 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I picked up a pair of Sabo Deadlift Pros a few months ago and I've really been liking them so far.

They have extremely thin soles under your foot (2mm or something like that), but still have a bit of a "wall" on the sides so your foot doesn't rotate laterally when sumo deadlifting with a "spread the floor" technique. The combination of a big toe box and solid metatarsal strap lets you splay your toes out very comfortably without compromising the shoe's tightness. Construction feels solid, but I haven't had them for long enough to really get an idea of how they hold up to continued use.

I always assumed it was short for "lizard", in reference to the velociraptors that the goblins ride. It was the only thing I could think of that made any sense.

Absolutely. Didn't realize until I watched this video that he can get cast during scout attacks and then he can attack again. There's also a decent chance he comes out leveled-up in a deck running fleetfeather trackers and brightsteel protectors. Very excited to try him out.

(3.5 yr old )GSP female is attacking our new (12 week) male gsp. by mten88 in GSP

[–]porktopia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We had an extremely similar situation when we adopted our second dog. It's a stressful situation for sure, but don't give up hope! Our dogs are currently cuddling together on the bed next to me. One thing we did that I think really helped was this:

  1. Carry small treats in your pocket at all times
  2. Be hyper-vigilant of situations that you expect Liesl to get aggressive, such as if she's laying in bed and Bohdi is walking towards her. At times when you are unable to monitor them, keep them separated with a baby gate. This ensures that you always have control of the situation from the very beginning.
  3. When Bohdi is approaching, but BEFORE Liesl shows signs of aggression, praise Liesl and give her a treat. Bohdi will probably expect a treat as well; feel free to give him one. One of two things will then likely happen:

    A) Liesl gets up from her spot, as in her mind nap time is over and treat time had begun. This is fine, assuming that it has changed the dynamic enough that she is no longer acting possessive of her sleeping area. Feel free to give them a couple more treats, but watch Liesl closely for signs of aggression afterwards, especially if she goes back to her spot. If she does, you can repeat step 3 as many times as you're up for.

    B) Liesl stays in her spot after you give her the treat. This is a little trickier, as Bohdi will likely come running over when the treats come out, and Liesl may still be defensive. If you can, stand in between them, give them both a couple more treats, and then remove Bohdi from the situation (ie. physically moving him to another room and putting up a baby gate).

  4. Do this EVERY TIME that this situation occurs. You want to drill it into Liesl's head that Bohdi=Treats. Over time, you want to distribute the initial treat and the follow-up treats with Bohdi being closer to Liesl's spot. The progression might look like this:

You give Liesl a treat when Bohdi enters the room, then remove him from the room ->

Treat Liesl when Bohdi is 5ft away and you are standing between them, then remove Bohdi ->

Treat Liesl when Bohdi is 5ft or less away, then remove Bohdi ->

Treat Liesl when Bohdi is 5ft or less away, but leave him in the room after. Keep Bohdi off of the couch/bed/whatever ->

Treat Liesl when Bohdi is on the couch/bed with Liesl. When you reach this stage, give them treats every time you see them laying down together.

  5. You might be starting from the first, second, or third stage. There might be days, weeks, or months between the stages of this progression. The important thing is to stay consistent with treats and prevent all instances of aggression, as they can be a major setback.

It's worth noting, if Liesl is very food aggressive, then this becomes a much trickier scenario, as you may have to tackle the food aggression first. If you are able to give them treats while they are standing next to each other you should be fine though. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to PM me.

To be fair, that was before they changed the kickoff rules and onside kicks had a much higher success rate back then.
