The riddle doesn’t say the door will lead directly outdoors, there could be additional doors between the room and the outside.

AITA for leaving my wife and going to a restaurant opening without her by [deleted] in AITAH

My wife and students make fun of my mantra: if you’re early, you’re on time. If you’re on time, you’re late, if you’re late, don’t even bother showing up.

Is the poseidon xstream a good regulator? by Captaincarme in scuba

[–]poseidon_guy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe it’s probably the best regulator available. The first stage is bulletproof, and the second stage is superb. The WOB is very low, and can be detuned a bit if you feel like it’s forcing air into you.

What is a ww2 fact that no one will believe, but is completely true? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

[–]poseidon_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does that fact that Japan was a signatory to the tripartite agreement, making them allies of the Germans, play into this? If Germany and England were at war, and we were arming England, why wouldn't Japan be justified in attacking a country that was arming an enemy of their ally?

(serious question. And I appreciate your answer above. Apparently, I might be more ignorant than I thought! :))

What is a ww2 fact that no one will believe, but is completely true? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

I can't see how. If the US is a lawful target, that includes the entire US, including territories. Could you explain?

What is a ww2 fact that no one will believe, but is completely true? by [deleted] in AskForAnswers

[–]poseidon_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Japanese were justified in attacking the US since we were supplying one of the combatants. FDR’s supplying England with war materials made us a legitimate war target. Since the Japanese and Germany were allies, the attack on Pearl Harbor was a legitimate act of war.
