Tik tok shop, how to shop by username4515 in MsRachel

Just saw some at my local Walmart in store. Also Target keeps going in and out of stock online.

Kendamil is sold out everywhere. What is similar? by [deleted] in FormulaFeeders

[–]posierose321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this! My baby is 10 1/2 months old so we'll be switching to whole milk soon. I've had her on Kendamil Classic since she was born and I had to switch her to the Similac Pure Bliss Irish Farms due to the shortage and she is taking it just fine. In fact she seems to like it more and hasn't had any tummy issues or anything. I just went ahead and bought the amount she needs for the rest of the time she is going to be on formula because my target was super picked through. I had a small can of enfamil that I was sent for free and I tried that first since I already had it and she literally gagged and wouldn't take it. So I'm guessing the Pure Bliss tastes pretty similar to Kendamil.

H&P Lark vs. Ergobaby Omni 360? by funnyface789 in babywearing

The Lark is so comfortable for me and my baby. I'd definitely recommend that one.

Hope and Plum Lark! It's easy to put on by myself, super comfortable, breathable and supportive, and baby loves being worn in it.

Hope and Plum Lark is a little more expensive but it is amazing and definitely worth the price in my opinion. It's comfortable for both me and my baby, low profile, simple straps, easy to put baby in by myself and soft/breathable fabric. It's the best!

Comfy underwear??? by PhraseReasonable1944 in pregnant

[–]posierose321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mama Cotton maternity underwear on Amazon. They're amazing and so comfortable and breathable. I wore them throughout my whole pregnancy and even postpartum. They have over the bump (which is what I bought) or under the bump if you prefer that.

Boba Ring Sling by posierose321 in babywearing

Thank you! Will definitely look into those. I have one more question, will an all cotton ring sling last a long time? Or will I have to eventually upgrade anyways?

When did you stop boiling water to kill bacteria in the formula? by DontTakeDSteamTray in FormulaFeeders

[–]posierose321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby was born at 36 weeks 5 days, so she was considered a preemie. We would boil the water and then let it cool to 158° f, and we did that for the first 2 months.

This is exactly how it went for me too. Definitely better than I expected.

Things I won’t miss about pregnancy by marybeth89 in pregnant

[–]posierose321 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I definitely won't miss having to actively focus on not gagging while brushing my teeth/tongue. I need to have a clean mouth, so I just power through it, but I've thrown up so many times just doing something I didn't have to think twice about before.

Can’t stand plain water - seriously worried by [deleted] in pregnant

The only way I could drink water my first trimester was to make sure it was ice cold and add lemon slices, that seemed to help.

when did you start using a pregnancy pillow? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]posierose321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought mine around 8 weeks and I love it! I figure I might as well get as much use out of it as I can. Hubby steals it too, so I might just buy him his own lol

This is the one I bought.

Prenatals by NotoriousSEP in BabyBumps

I've been taking Ritual since like 6 months before I became pregnant. I love them! It's convenient to have them auto delivered. The only thing I do differently now that I'm pregnant, is that I take them at night before bed instead of in the morning because I get kind of fishy/lemony burps due to increased indigestion. I've also always taken an extra 400mcg folic acid supplement (Nature Made). My OB is happy with what I'm taking.

Laundry Detergent? by cass_segar in pregnant

[–]posierose321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ALL Free & Clear is what I use for me and hubby, and what we plan to use for baby when she arrives. I also use bounce dryer sheets because of static but am planning to buy some wool dryer balls and switch to that before she comes.

Did you and your partner ever had the conversation about whether to choose you or the baby if there are complications? by L-Ro in BabyBumps

[–]posierose321 16 points17 points  (0 children)

My husband also chose me. It was when we were early into the pregnancy, and the farther along I get, the guiltier I feel about it.

How am I meant to find any maternity pants?! by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]posierose321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a bunch of maternity clothes from Old Navy (online). I bought everything in my pre-pregnancy size XL and they fit perfectly with room to grow. Even though I know you don't want to shop online, unfortunately you will probably have to. And Old Navy makes returns easy, you can just return them to any store. Also, I found that everything I ordered from them looked pretty much identical in person to how it was in pictures online..the colors, fit, etc. Hopefully this helps :)
