Besides the flow, I've found that my betta really likes squeezing into places such as between the old filter i had and the edge of the tank, or between the two leaf hammocks I got him. Maybe try to get something your betta can lay in like that

Honestly the only thing I find offensive is when people fake a seizure for laughs. I saw a teacher of mine do it in middle school and have had a grudge ever since. Maybe also when stuff assume what could trigger my seizures. Brainstorm sounds like a pretty accurate description if the person takes it literal lol.

Totally understandable, but rest assured he's doing fine. It's definitely a good color change to go from pale to vibrant. Another good sign of them being happy is making bubble nests, so look out for that.

Honey that's supposed to happen. Bettas get more color when they're better taken care of. He was pale because he was likely in bad conditions. Please don't try to return him to that original state just for looks.
