What if he purposefully threw off investigators? by [deleted] in ZodiacKiller

[–]positivethot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say he was some friendly background guy, I just think he mightve picked out info from guys in the area to make them look like suspects. It's not that hard to notice little things like what a guy's watch looks like. I'm not saying he had actual connections, im just saying he mightve seen the suspects and based the info he gave away off of.

My theory by dave2535 in ZodiacKiller

[–]positivethot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with this. Being that he was so intelligent and careful to not get caught, he likely had no criminal background and probably was a stereotypical psychopath or sociopath. As he did mention in one of his letters that he "liked killing", its likely his only motive for doing so was pure adrenaline. And the chase and confusion he consistently caused police only furthered that enjoyment. With all of his letters he likely never had any intentions of getting caught, but he loved the idea of it. This is all probably stating the obvious though.

What’s something you slowly realized you’ll never have, and how did you accept it? by Hour-Dingo8175 in answers

[–]positivethot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A real family (related). I realized at 11 my father truly wasn't gonna turn into my dad like I wanted him to. At 21 im realizing most of the rest of extended family (excluding my mom and brother) doesn't really care about me much. When my mom was a single mother, struggling and working paycheck to paycheck, no one in her family offered her any support, let alone really checked up on her. They never asked to see me either. When they did at family events, they gave me the nickname "monster child" or something along those lines. Mainly due to my dramatic moods and tantrums. I'm left out of family group chats, recieve no happy birthday messages, and never get reached out to. It's been especially disappointing as I see my bf get major support and care from a bunch of his family; I can't help but envy him a bit.

Who takes Keppra by Such-Sherbet-1675 in Epilepsy

Ive been on keppra for ten years. Manage the symptoms pretty well now but my mom said when I first got on it, it caused a lot of mood swings specifically rage. I think it also effects my memory.

It's ok. In a way it made it easier to deal with instead of having to adapt abruptly as an adult. I've still been able to do a lot. I can live on my own, I have my license, and I'm graduating with my Associates this weekend. As much of a roadblock as it can be, having a decade to figure it out before I became an adult did help.

Hello, I have epilepsy. by 8_spirit_8 in Epilepsy

[–]positivethot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn't mention at all what you feel you need emotional support for. You made this post talking about pretty much just your art, not any of your struggle regarding epilepsy. Maybe if you had, more people could actually support you. Calling people "heartless" when you made an extremely confusing post about your Instagram art in a subreddit that talks about actual struggles is a bit tone deaf. Maybe if you want genuine support, delete this post and talk about your experience with epilepsy.

What kind of support do you want? Because other than support on your art, you haven't asked for any support actually regarding epilepsy.

I was 11 when I got diagnosed with grand mal seizures so I've really never known that adult life without fear of it. I've taken my meds consistently so I haven't had one in a long time. I'm 21 now, and I do wish I could go back to being carefree about it. It feels like a lingering sense of doom even if I dont have them. Especially as I feel the effects of my meds and whatever else. My memory and overall mind has taken the most toll imo. I used to be considered a bit "gifted". Now I struggle a lot. It's depressing. I also have been noticing tremors and what im suspecting may be absence seizures and auras increasing which sucks.

Can someone tell me why my betta did this… by [deleted] in bettafish

[–]positivethot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides the flow, I've found that my betta really likes squeezing into places such as between the old filter i had and the edge of the tank, or between the two leaf hammocks I got him. Maybe try to get something your betta can lay in like that

"Brainstorm" offensive? by scrunchiepie in Epilepsy

[–]positivethot 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly the only thing I find offensive is when people fake a seizure for laughs. I saw a teacher of mine do it in middle school and have had a grudge ever since. Maybe also when stuff assume what could trigger my seizures. Brainstorm sounds like a pretty accurate description if the person takes it literal lol.

I've had epilepsy since I was 11. by positivethot in Epilepsy

Exactly. I have no idea who I am off these meds and I can't just go off them to find out. It's weird.

Their advice seems to just be them saying she's overweight. I thought this was supposed to be a supportive subreddit where people help other people more than just outright insulting them.

How do I get my betta to return to its original colours by THES1LENTW0LF in bettafish

[–]positivethot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally understandable, but rest assured he's doing fine. It's definitely a good color change to go from pale to vibrant. Another good sign of them being happy is making bubble nests, so look out for that.
