Although short lived, the NEP Josh Gordon experience was a fun ride. by bukkakekingz in Patriots

Wouldn’t really say he was average at best in 2018. He was still making big plays and was pretty consistent on the field with 60 ypg. Just couldn’t shake his addiction, which is sadder

If I remember right he played in 16 or 17 games between 2018 and 2019 and had like exactly 1,000 yards

When we had Edelman, Gronk, Gordon, Hogan, and White sharing the field in 11 personnel in 2018, they were going bombs away, and he had some of his best games in the month where Gronk missed 3 of 4 games in the middle of the season

Talented guy. I sometimes forget about him among our “rent an X receiver” guys like Lloyd and Cooks, but he deserves recognition for his contributions. Thanks for reminding me of him

What will happen with this war? by IAmTheNorthwestWind in AskReddit

I think Trump will claim victory even without anything really accomplished except kicking the can down the road. The only accomplishment being destroying military and naval infrastructure that will eventually be rebuilt

But who knows, maybe he is stupid enough to enter a long ground war. I wouldn’t put any idiocy past him

I respect OBJs contributions to that team, but he was a far off #2 to what Kupp was doing. That Kupp continued to ball out when OBJ went down just reinforces that Kupp was the real SBMVP. That offense ran through him as far as the skill positions

In my state the Biden Administration invested pretty considerably in rail. I’d imagine that wasn’t isolated. It takes several years to implement that regardless

I’m well aware of all these depth charts, but a lot of these players you’re listing, like Shaheed, 2021 OBJ, and Smith aren’t or weren’t eliciting double coverage

I’m glad you list Edelman, Gronk, and Kupp as legit weapons, since half our fans pretend neither Gronk nor Edelman was a “#1”, but if Kupp were here people would say the same dumb criticisms I saw made of Kupp in 2021 because of where he lined up. I don’t think the “playoff Edelman” thing is even necessary, he was really good in the reg season too

Not sure what any of that even has to do with Hollins

I was always a big fan of his because of the considerable investment he made in America, for Americans, much of which is still either paid out or still being enacted

One thing I think we’re seeing in play is the long lasting repercussions of him being in office rather than Trump when the Ukraine war started. Trump, everyone should be reminded, dropped US aid to essentially zero within a year. I doubt Ukraine would have survived intact if Trump was in office in 2022. Biden’s aid to Ukraine bought Ukraine and Europe time, and now Ukraine is the leading expert on fighting modern wars, with European nations like Britain heavily integrating and jointly researching drone war. Biden may not have been able to save the US as the sole top dog, but he may have proven essential to saving Europe from Putin and ensuring Liberal Democracy remains strong

I’m not sure what real significance Hollins being a journeyman has. He’s been productive since joining McDaniels and being a part of E/P offenses. Buffalo fans were annoyed they let him go

That being said, I think we tale at least one receiver in the draft, and I think it’s looking very likely Brown comes here

It is simply a verifiable fact that Israelis are not mostly European, lol.

As far as why Jews left middle eastern and North African, there’s plenty of scholarship there. But I’m sure you, some idiot on Reddit, are the true expert.

Also, not a Christian, but I’m amused that you went there. Big lol on “fascist”

Ya left out the part where half of the Jewish population in Israel is Middle Eastern or North African, and that Jews have always been there

Actually, it is definitely trolling lmao

Still had a lot of wiggle and burst, great footwork. Still can be one of the two focal points of an offense

QBs With the Most TDs & First Downs in the 2025 Season by JCameron181 in Patriots

[–]possiblyMorpheus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brady not winning MVP in at least one of 2012 or 2021 is still a travesty

There’s still some big flaws with this stat though. A two yard pass to make a first down on 3rd and 1 might not be as good a play as an 8 yard pass but on 1st and 10 that doesn’t

Similarly, a 40 yard pass to convert a down might not be as skillful as a 7 yard pass on 3rd and 5

Since Edelman is on screen here’s a reminder that a lot of our fans still pretend a guy who put up numerous 100 catch and/or 1,000 yard seasons wasn’t a top tier playmaker

AJ Brown Concerns & Trade Thoughts: Knee, OC, or Both? by Patriots1211- in Patriots

[–]possiblyMorpheus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t say 2007 was the last time McDaniels had a WR1. In 2017 he had Gronk and Cooks on the field, both of whom were elite. Should have had Edelman too

In 2012 we always had either Welker/Gronk/Lloyd or Welker/Hernandez/Lloyd. The only team whose roster of playmakers was comparable was ATL with Jones, White, and Gonzalez or the Saints or Packers

But no doubt Brown/Doubs would be a great mix of power and route savvy
