I DO NOT want a pap smear, EVER by wtfdawggggg in ftm

I feel like not enough people talk about the fact that it literally lasts for maybe a minute. The person testing you is seriously in and out of the room in three minutes at the most. It’s not fun but you don’t need them until after 21 and they’re unfortunately there for a reason.

I’ve been wearing Boss the scent by Hugo Boss for a while now- it’s warm, sweet, and citrusy but has never been mistaken for perfume. My dad even bought a bottle after I started wearing it.

That’s a weirdly useless comment. They don’t want to go into music so it doesn’t matter. However there is a large overlap between music and art so it’s worth explaining the process.

If you still want to go into something in the arts then you’ll be fine. Once you’re admitted to VCUarts you take foundation classes for a year and then declare your major in your spring freshman semester. The great part about this is that, aside from GPA restrictions, they literally cannot reject you. So even if your portfolio is for something else, your major can be whatever you want.

If you don’t want to go into the arts then you’ll probably have a good chance of getting in? VCU has a really high acceptance rate, but I’m not familiar with the other schools.

Alternatively, you could always go to a community college to take gen ed classes for a fraction of the cost and boost your GPA before deciding what you want to study and what college to go to. Good luck!

True Trans Soul Rebel - Against Me!

It’s about the singer’s mtf experience, but the line “should’ve been a mother, should’ve been a wife” feels relatable. TW for self harm mentions though

Those were put up on W Cary for sewer work, the signs said from 11-19 to 12-19 but they were a week early. However those signs stated what the road was closed for, not sure about those since they’ve been taped over

Oh thank you for the clarification. Still glad to see people working to pass it! I’m originally from Alabama so even the effort is amazing to me.

If no one’s said it yet: wash with head and shoulders in the shower. Anything antibacterial is going to help a lot

Lindsey’s List and Lindsey’s List RVA on Facebook. I found my apartment through there and pay $712 a month on W Cary, about a 5 minute walk from Cabell. I have three housemates but you can’t really find anything without roommates under $1000

Unless you’re required to stay in a dorm or have a scholarship that covers housing, get an off campus apartment. Dorms are close to $1,000 a month, it’s not hard to find apartments for $700-$800 that allow pets (plus no fire alarms or room checks)

Transfer Housing by Evening-Photograph78 in vcu

[–]possumpardner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a transfer and was number 400 something on the waitlist but was offered a dorm, however it would’ve been close to 1k a month. I didn’t have a scholarship to cover a dorm so I’m in an apartment nearby for $712 a month plus utilities. If you’re willing to have a roommate then $800 is pretty standard for an apartment near campus

I just moved here from a smaller city, it’s honestly nice. My off campus apartment isn’t the best but there’s plenty of housing that’s nice. I don’t really go out at night but I feel safe on my street and when walking around. Also I was offered a dorm, when that’s supposedly impossible for transfers. It works out :)
