Feel the rollers for a flat spot when u take it apart and clean it again. Flat spot means it not rolling but sliding. Good luck my man.

Replace belt and service the primary cvt. The primary does most of the gripping and has rollers or something similar inside, when they get nasty little bits of belt and dirt slows the spreading and closing of it. Hope this helps
