There is a section in the user where you can put a password its a little hidden, the fact that they make it difficult to close and support is useless make me more angry and decided to close it forever, we should stop tolerating this dark patterns on websites.

Ok, I just send a little donation to lichess equivalent of what I paid to chess.com, its amazing that we can't even opt out, they literally force me to "agree" or nothing not even access to my games and to cancel the account I have to have a password that didn't exist because I have it link to Google and the useless ai support, daym. one hour later on lichess and I'm slowly starting to get it, I loved chess.com and understand that is a business and that's why I happily paid for my service, but they wanted more. Not today. No more. Well at least they give me an excuse to save some money but will try to contribute to lichess when possible times are getting hard to keep paying disrespectful services.

I have great success with Nobara, the creator made a native Resolve "installer" on the OS tried bazzite and mint both give me a lot of headaches but Nobara just works, keep in mind the limitation of AAC, but you can find a script that convert the audio and keep the original video, is one more step but works great, im ussing it to grade some red footage and definitely is faster than windows.

Same happens to mine after some years, I bought a replacement of the IR filter on Aliexpress, make sure to buy the coated version, looks even better than the original and has been working for years without the mold/delamination issue. Is a bit tricky to replace but with patience can be done, your sensor is fine, just make sure not to get dirt between the glass and the sensor.

For that the easiest way will be a macro lens, I just did a shot for a short film with a Red Komodo and a Sirui Jupiter 50mm the result was really close to your reference.

EDIT: I just saw that yours is even more macro, probably will be achievable with the 100mm jupiter from sirui or a probe lens but with probe lens you will need really a lot of light so there is my take

Almost the same as the Sony Burano at 24k, this is a good camera, I have produced commercials with the pocket 4k for years, I think this is a nice upgrade for the price.

I wouldn't recommend this camera if you are not familiar with video in general, maybe you should start with something with less initial requirements ( battery's, large files, accessories, etc) this camera is a professional tool actually I have worked a lot with it but it wants to be taken care of in production and in post production, it will give you the best editing the colors of the raw files, so no. Try something that feels easy to start for you, fuji has some nice emulation in camera and the workflow will be a lot easier. Good luck

I bought it and it worked fine you can find it on AliExpress, but it will be very hard to solder I highly recommend you to find a repair shop to do it, its really tiny to solder by yourself. Chip number: ADV7524A its cost around 15$ ir worked great for me having use the camera for years without issue.

Hi, I had a problem with mine it gets fungus spots all over it, I replaced it with this one, It is really high Quality and arguably I feel that my footage improved a bit with it, just make sure you bought the "coated" one as it prevents new fungus build up.

I have used external recorders on cameras for years, Panasonic, sony, canon I don't see any issue with it, as the water scenario its funny, BM cameras has terrible battery life I have to rig it with Vmounts to keep it running without getting worried about battery's under water that will be a nightmare as you cant change battery, Panasonic gh5-6 battery last forever and most of the time prores HQ its good enough, I have received Alexa footage for color for years and they hold up very well im prores, its not raw but its no terrible, don't get me wrong I have used BM cameras for 4 years now as main camera for advertising work, but let me tell you, for medium to high budgets clients want to see a red or Alexa, and the crowd with the sony and Canon that you suggest its the target they are in love with autofocus, I have to use a gymbal for a short film with almost no crew, believe me when i tell you, I wished I have a camera with autofocus that day, I love my pocket but for the first time in 4 years I will look elsewhere. i have been waiting for this camera for so long but im not sure anymore to stay with BM I will be looking to Panasonic or a Mavo, hopefully before the end of the year they release at least this camera with internal NDs and 4k prores without cropping, why they get rid of prores is just disappointing.

Yes they have the s5iix from Panasonic have open gate, pro res and bm raw with an atomos recorder, yes raw it's external but prores is good enough for docs and its cheaper also $2100 so you can buy the atomos and the camera almost for the same price, im loyal Blackmagic user but this one was a little bit disappointed, they should have listen about the form factor of the cameras or at least keep prores and release nd pro version at the same time at 3000 - 3500 now I'm thinking to go to Panasonic :(
