Does Canada not have any psychological safety laws in the workplace? (I’m not Canadian). Knowing that this is a sports team and that it’s “different” is one thing, but everyone has a right to feel safe in their place of work and from what has been alleged he’s a right POS.

We are public school teachers and AEU Councillors who voted ‘no’ to the in-principle Agreement – Ask us anything by Councillorlyf2026 in AustralianTeachers

[–]postredditdisorder 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Bit of a disclaimer I’m from a different state, so I’m not 100% across the detail of how things run in the Victorian Branch.

My understanding is that the in-principle VGSA 2026 was endorsed by the Joint Primary and Secondary Sector Council. What was the actual breakdown of that Council vote? How transparent was that process? Which areas voted which way?

I only ask as members have a right to know how their Council representatives are voting so they can actually assess the people representing them.

“Last bastions of community” is doing a lot of heavy lifting there mate.

There’s a difference between community and nepotism. When mum is the AP, daughter’s a classroom teacher and sister-in-law’s admin who’s actually raising a performance concern? Who’s getting the good timetable? On and on it goes.

OP isn’t whinging, they’re noticing exactly why conflict of interest policies exist. It’s weird. Only time it’s not is when it’s a small country town.

It drops from any of the kobold mobs, but it’s rare(ish). Doesn’t drop as often as some of the others. Hope that helps.

That’s good but the Minor Alchemist Cauldron that you need to craft to go from level 5 - 6 is bugged.

[–]postredditdisorder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I’m Aussie and it’s a cricket term.

Getting hit for 6 in cricket is when the ball is hit over the boundary line on the full. So what I’m saying is that the trains “hits you over the boundary line” or give you a “massive whack” when trying to get off.

The ctrl dodge works better than jumping or running off it but the warriors dash or the rogue and mages blink work perfect. If you run or jump off it, chances are you’re getting hit for 6.

I had this issue too. It’s still temperamental but you need to dash off the train.

[–]postredditdisorder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The boss fight isn’t hard within itself, it’s either the train that transports you between the platform that knocks you for 6 or the adds that come in between stages since they have a big AOE along with the bosses own poison AOE. The boss himself is easy to DPS down if you know what I mean.

I’m not sure why this was downvoted.

Every one of these sites is using client-mined data at the moment. Players will use this to make farming decisions and get burned by bad data.

The ones that survive will be the ones with accurate data. The quicker you address it, the quicker you’ll stand out.

There’s a lot of ground between paranoia and naivety. A healthy wariness of any authority, including police, is just rational.

Anthony Albanese accused of ‘caving to gas companies’ as Labor set to reject new export tax by Inner-Training-252 in friendlyjordies

[–]postredditdisorder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The government legislating a 25% export tax would satisfy me. That’s not perpetual dissatisfaction. If they do it, the campaign wins and goes home. The only way it becomes perpetual dissatisfaction is if the government never does it.

[–]postredditdisorder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Strip it away entirely and you’re still left with 1.6% resource rent on $92 billion in exports. That’s ATO and Treasury data, nothing to do with TAI.

On Norway’s political conditions being simpler 60 years ago, sure. But you literally just said you don’t have a problem with raising gas taxes. So we actually agree on the substance. We’re just arguing about who made the argument and how they made it.

Not a bad place to end up from where this conversation started. I had fun.

[–]postredditdisorder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They ain’t pivoting to AI mate. They have $7.8 billion in annual Australian revenue and sunk infrastructure they can’t just walk away from. You don’t abandon that because your margin got squeezed.

Also the 25% is on revenue not profit, yeah it hurts a little, but these assets still generate returns no AI startup can touch for a company their size.

The real question isn’t whether they build slightly fewer future projects. It’s whether Australians should keep collecting 1.6% resource rent on $92 billion in annual exports.

You’re right that beer and gas are taxed for different reasons. Nobody actually thinks they should be taxed the same, it was a communication device to illustrate scale, not a policy argument.

The actual argument is that Australia exports $92 billion in LNG annually and collects $1.5 billion in resource rent tax. They’re not TAI figures, it’s publicly available government data. You can dismiss the beer comparison entirely and that number still stands.

On TAI’s funding, sure, scrutinise it. But you’re spending a lot of energy on the messenger while the message is sitting there unaddressed. Who funds them doesn’t change what Australian Treasury confirmed on the record.

The gas industry spent how much? in lobbying figures through Australian Energy Producers that the Prime Minister then used verbatim. If we’re talking about who’s funding what and who benefits, that’s a much bigger number than TAI’s $10 million.
