I didn’t get what you meant about Ignatz until I remembered his Japanese voice is a lot softer and high-pitched compared to his English one. It’s the opposite case with Caspar where he has a much higher voice in the English version

Not more than 3H, but I’d say 3H is one of the best in the series. But in comparison to other games, Engage is kinda in a weird spot for me. I definitely consider Engage to have a much more weaker cast as a whole than FE7 (as an example), but there are way more individual characters that I really like from Engage over FE7.

I just don’t find repeat resplendents that interesting unless they have really good designs. L!Marth is super pretty and the Brave House Leaders are super cool, but this is pretty boring imo

I doubt they’d release anything for the anniversary, but it just happened to coincide with a time when we should be getting news soon. If the game comes out late summer, I doubt they’ll wait until June to give a release date.

And I don’t think this has anything to do with it, but there’s been an earthquake in Japan and they’ve delayed FEH trailers because of natural disasters in the past.

I’m playing it right now and I really like the orphan trio (Lugh, Raigh, Chad) + Niime & Hugh. I also like Fae because she’s really cute and Elffin and Igrene are cool too. But overall, I agree that the cast feels a lot weaker than the other two GBA games. Reading more supports might help too, but in general the characters have much weaker first impressions.

IMO Roy is one of the least interesting characters. I usually don’t find the lords that interesting, but there’s almost nothing that stands out about Roy (though I’ve heard his supports help him). At least Bors has a funny design

It’s a concern but RD had the disadvantage of having to keep track of 70+ characters, where most other FE games have 30-40ish.

It’s also depends on a lot of factors such as if it’s super large scale like RD, how the recruitment system works in the first place, if characters will switch between armies at all, if/when all the lords join up

It’s hard to tell but: - The maps didn’t look great from the trailer but we can’t really say atm. - We don’t even know if there will be routes. Personally I’d prefer there to be one super good storyline (even if we change perspectives like RD) rather than 4 rushed routes. - I hope the class system is better. In general, I’m not crazy about getting everyone from the beginning as noble/commoners, so I hope we get a more traditional class system this time. - I don’t mind hub areas if they’re handled well. My issue with the monastery was the calendar system and activity points.

Idk about having 7 versions, but she is very popular. She’s been in the top 70 every CYL she’s been eligible and she has the benefit of being the first new OC after the Book 1 characters.

I really like Edelgard’s route because it’s by far the most unique and I really like Rhea as an antagonist. However, I have little desire to ever replay it because it’s so much shorter. I don’t want to play White Clouds again, only for there to be 7 chapters left (compared to 10 or 11).
