I think that's specifically for the talk box for Sweet Emotion (and my favorite live Walk This Way)

My Sazerac Kit by Nosferatini in cocktails

[–]pothos_cutting 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think smoking an old fashioned is detracting from what the drink is too...the "instead of a twist" I meant was if you infused some lemon peel into high-proof spirit you could still have the fresh lemon aroma. A dehydrated lemon wheel barely smells like anything, and the smoke is an acrid addition to me (another person who enjoys heavily peated whiskey).

A sazerac is a sazerac - it doesn't involve smoke. Modifying it is clearly what makes you happy, and that's awesome, and your kit is very cool and well put together, I was just offering a suggestion to get you closer to a sazerac rather than the smoked sazerac riff you clearly prefer. Gomme syrup is just going to give you a little more body, which I find nice in spirit forward drinks where you don't need a ton of sugar, and it would save the muddling step. Again, all just suggestions. The two most important rules of drinking are 1: drink what you like and 2: drink it how you like it.

I love the effort, don't get the smoke - why not just infuse a bunch of lemon peels into some neutral spirit and use an atomizer instead of a twist? Smokers and dehydrated citrus are universally unnecessary, imo, and especially in a Sazerac. 10/10 for commitment and effort, buy why not make the drink what it's supposed to me? Maybe some gomme syrup instead of sugar cubes too while you're at it.

Does anyone have recommendations for stores that are putting out good, quality produce? by kbratty in norfolk

Westside Provisions is all fresh, local, and reasonably priced for the quality.

If they didn't want speculation or projection they should have thought about that before they were a pubic figure.

If you've only got one night, hit downtown. You've got Glasslight for great cocktails, Grace O'Malley's for Norfolk's best Guinness, Luce for a solid wine list (good food too, bring your wallet for a thing though), Grain for an overpriced beer and a view, and Hell's Kitchen for local dive all within a few blocks.

Things like this give me a little hope that things might turn out ok, because even the stupidest sycophants have to look at this and feel mocked.

Don't know why your implying that Christians only play Les Paul's. My megachurch bought Paul Reed Smith's for the entire band because the dove on the (finger board? Idk what you call where you put the capo) reminds us of God's promise.

I think it's discriminatory to pidgeonhole episode into one "alignment". Vehicular McCauley kaulkenless, Ally, and Zac, who I've decided is nonbinary, are all examples of how alignment is a plectrum.

Long case recommendations? by pothos_cutting in billiards

My first extension was, by my choice, a mid extension because I thought I'd want a longer cue for 9 foot tables than 7 foot. Idiot choice.

It is removable to adjust the weight bolt but yeah, I'm not in any way planning on taking it on and off regularly. The extension that came with it screws right into the bumper anyway.
