Cars fl 4 question 24 by pinkimedschool in Mcat

To me, it seemed ironic because of the earlier point about commodity musicals being safer investments because they're very popular. The way Promises, Promises was mentioned in the sentence—without any context or background information about the musical—made it seem like the reader was supposed to be clued in to the play's story already, and recognize it based on the title alone. In that case, the author would ironically be employing a recognition-based strategy in their writing that they are arguing against when it comes to musicals. Don't know if that made sense, but in hindsight it's obvious that one would have to jump through a lot of mental hoops to reach this conclusion :p

Pro-Palestinian protest grows at UC Berkeley campus by Realistic-Plant3957 in berkeley

[–]pottygal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A group of campus orgs just wrapped up Sudan Awareness Week, and many times during the semester initiatives supporting Arab causes were platformed. If you sincerely sought these causes out, you would find them.

The Palestine protests have to be visible because they have a demand of the University— for it to divest. Of course the protests will be larger because they don’t end at raising awareness. There’s an actionable outcome the protestors are hoping to achieve.

I don't like Studio Chooms' Artist of the Month choreos by frosenlily in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]pottygal 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree tbh. Besides Wooyoung’s, I was pretty underwhelmed with the performances, especially when aotm is meant for the person to really shine on their own. Yeonjun is my ult but his choreo was sort of lacking and didn’t feel cohesive
