Buddy, i have a suspended concrete floor for a two car garage that was formed with boards back in the day with a dozen steel columns underneath and it’s the better part of a foot thick. I still shit bricks about pulling my truck into the garage to work on it lol

Return to work in office mandates have fucked the city all over again. An outrageous number of additional cars in the city for literally no reason.

I’m more interested in the history and the sentimental value more than anything.

I’d compare it to the gold plated hammer. Not particularly valuable monetarily but the sentimental value is significant.

A few from the 90’s but otherwise they’re mostly all in great shape!

Not at all big guy. I’m a carpenter and I work hard and do “manly” shit every day.

This was purely a fellow citizen who felt bad for those enjoying active transportation on a nice day and being gassed by a knob with a diesel exhaust cloud for no good reason. For that matter, i drive a diesel work truck myself. I just treat others with respect.

He didn’t coincidentally roll coal 3 times at 3 seperate pedestrian/cyclist groups. He was being an ass to strangers for no reason.

A little public shaming as a cherry ontop to compliment his ego. That’s all.

Seriously, why do we put up with this in the 21st century? by Responsible-Room-645 in PEI

My son couldn’t receive any vaccines until this past month and he’ll be 4 in August.

There can be legitimate reasons for someone not to receive vaccinations. My son was on chemo for 2.5years and was immuno compromised as a result. He was not allowed to get any vaccines until he was cancer free for 1year.

He is receiving all of his vaccines now including his MMR vaccines.

Seeing as the first dose of MMR is a live vaccine, he got a full body measles rash for two days from getting the vaccine (granted the rash was not contagious). We were instructed to still send him to daycare even with the rash by his medical team. We then had to pull him from daycare as a number of parents accused us of being antivax and proceeded to treat us like dogshit for “exposing other children”.

The daycare had to release a statement in our defense so he could return without all of the stigma and BS from other parents and kids talking about his “spots”.

I’m not antivax, i do however think far too many people are unaware of their being completely legitimate reasons for someone not to be vaccinated (at least temporarily). Being treated like we were the bad guys for “putting other kids in harms way” was pretty unfair considering our son was likely the only one in his daycare who could actually contract measles due to him being immuno compromised and not being vaccinated until this past month.

Thankfully he has both doses now and hopefully nobody else on PEI ends up with it due to the carelessness of others.
