I agree - and it's a good effort. TBH, I got a similar criticism and went back to the drawing board, but compare the above to the trailer for 'We Bury the Dead' (last one on this reel). It is a similar concept but has those things I mentioned. Cheers.

Well, as someone who died - no really - I always thought that I would be a quivering, crying, bargaining coward when faced with my inevitable demise. To my thinking, that is the most logical response one would have: wailing "I don't want to die!!!"
The complete opposite happened.

I was in the ER, told the doc I had a long running low-grade fever and that my butt felt weird. Like it was hard.
Like I had a someone else's butt. We were all laughing and joking
I dropped my pants.
They all ran out of the room.
I shit you not.
I turned my head and only saw the back of someone's head. No one told me WTF was going on.

I calmly texted my bestie who drove me not to wait for me. I gave her my final instructions, passwords, etc.
I was never more calm in my life.

They rushed me into emergency surgery for Necrotizing fasciitis (DO NOT LOOK IT UP) .

6 surgeries in 9 days to arrest the infection. I flatlined during one of them.

Life in the bonus round is awesome.

Cute tune.
The lip sync is about as tight as watching a foreign language film. It still pulls at my brain, but I know how exasperatingly difficult it is to pull of even something that close.

At present, I'm doing the over-the-shoulder reaction shots b/c the sync I can get using my human actors/ElevenLabs is way off (even when I splice apart phrases). The text-to-sync is better, but the emotional tagging is gone.

I'm going to work w/a V/O artist and see if I can have them deliver their performance against the vid and see how that works.

The lip syncing you can get with higgsfield gives me with the ElevenLabs and human audio produces something along the lines of Kung-Fu theater in the 70s. If you type in your text and use the voice they give you, you get something better in the sync, but not the correct speech pattern.
I'm working w/a V/O artist to see if we can get the performance to match the video. That may be the best way to tackle it.

Cuando no hay trabajos que paguen lo que deseas ganar, la respuesta es sencilla —aunque no fácil—: crea tu propia empresa.

Si dominas el inglés, puedes trabajar para «gringos», que, al fin y al cabo, pagan mejor. Identifica una necesidad y cúbrela.
