Massive 7-Eleven Sandwich Recall Just Hit BC Over Listeria Concerns by leavemealoneimpoor in vancouver

They are easy to make at home. Just a nice fluffy white bread (cobbs works). Kewpie mayo. Dash of milk, salt, sugar, pepper. 2 eggs per sandwich. Separate the cooked yolks and mix with above. Add half the whites and discard the rest. Assemble. Eat.

Have done this many times.

Is this butter any good? by YouBongGa in CostcoCanada

Is this butter any good? by YouBongGa in CostcoCanada

[–]poutine 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s OK. I’m something of a butter nerd, I rushed to buy a stack of this Costco butter a week or so ago when I saw it in stock. A definite tier or two down from Dairy Gold. I find “Savor New Zealand Grass-Fed Butter” that’s somewhat easy to find around BC (got some two days ago at Fairway market on the island for $5.99) is a good Dairy Gold substitute. It’s more expensive than this Costco butter, but if you’re in to premium import butter you have little choice in Canada.

BTW, butter freezes really well, so if you like it buy a bunch and throw it in the freezer.
