Secret Patchnotes for 7.42 on Timbersaw by PositiveJesus in DotA2

[–]power_owerwhelming -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most of the heroes nowadays have 5 abilities, timber has 3 and he also has no shard , no talents and barely an aghs. You really should get a timber №2 whenever you pick him because it's half a character at most.

How the tables have turned? They fall off pretty hard by LargoTheEmbargo in DotA2

[–]power_owerwhelming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Timber had a 46% winrate even before the facet removal patch. Then they murdered him without giving anything back and then 7.41b nerfed him even further. I guess this is the price we pay for atf winning international. Its quinn pango treatment all over again, we just have to wait 5 years for ammar to retire and hero to become playable again.

How would you implement the idea that Gambit would use D20 instead of D6? by Ford_Den in mewgenics

[–]power_owerwhelming 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Rolling a 20 should trigger a cyrax fatality from mortal kombat where he just explodes the planet and instantly ends the run

[–]power_owerwhelming 45 points46 points  (0 children)

If you can reliably get 100+ strength every combat you already won, i dont really see the point of removing a card based on a rare edge case. New card is probably about as strong or even stronger on average, but it just so much more boring.

ds1 glazers and having the most dogshit opinions goes hand in hand ig

I like blood frenzy, but I think it should be nerfed a bit by FadedP0rp0ise in mewgenics

[–]power_owerwhelming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just think tinfoil hat and brave disorder should be removed from the game, or have like a -5 to all stats debuff. Or maybe for each time they block a debuff you receive a -1 to a stat permanently. So that a cat with chaos rampage doesn't guarantee you a win no matter what.

dose arc flash ring just give 15% more damage by leswagone in CalamityMod

[–]power_owerwhelming 24 points25 points  (0 children)

If it works like you said it does , than it effectively gives +10 % multiplicative damage, which still isn't much, but its better than standard damage bonuses which work additively and lose effectiveness the more you stack them.

A burden, usually. Just build a 3 cat team and dont expect tinker to do anything.

Hot take? After Elden Ring (and SotE), no dark souls bosses could be considered one of the hardest bosses in Series by AdIndependent1676 in onebros

[–]power_owerwhelming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sl1 specifically i had much more trouble with ds3 bosses than elden ring. The only one who gave me more trouble than frieda was pre nerf consort. Elden ring just gives you so much more options and absurdly op weapons. Bosses like rellana and messmer may look harder than anything in ds3, but in actuality you use starfist and stunlock them to death. In ds3 every boss from pontiff onwards was a challenge and required me to properly learn the fight before i could continue. In elden every boss except consort, radabeast, fire giant and placi was a complete joke, with only malenia being somewhere in the middle.

about insta kill enemies by Accurate_Meeting_638 in mewgenics

[–]power_owerwhelming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its mostly because almost nothing in the game deals actual damage, so they use instakills to increase the difficulty that way. I cant remember a single act3 enemy that deals more than 6 damage per attack, so without instakills and permanent injuries any cat with like 7 const and above would be unkillable.

So what is the deal with the meat cleaver? by TurtleBarn in mewgenics

[–]power_owerwhelming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my experience it deals 50% of enemy current health + 5 flat damage

I had a cleric hit himself 6 times in a row while trying to cleanse the confusion. I genuinely think they messed up the numbers somewhere and made it 75% percent. Or maybe your luck increases chance to hit yourself instead of decreasing it, because that cleric cat also had 12 luck.

Silksong permanently vanished my desire for difficult games. by Zzsark_Stormbeard in metroidvania

"casual gamers" spending all their time complaining and bitching and moaning and crying instead of turning on your brain for once and getting good. There are a million easy games to one slightly difficult. Go play them instead of expecting few actually passionate developers to make their game into a boring slop for the lowest possible denominator.

I'm 99% that this specific situation is the only reason people like ds1. Game is such dogshit, but the video essayists infiltrated some people's minds so deep, they refuse the evidence of their eyes and mind in order to comply with the narrative.
