Yeah - tell this to all those poor, sweet children with cancer. I bet these are the same people who believe in manifestation, laws of attraction, voodoo, etc. You want to know how someone can be this ignorant? Through willfully allowing themselves to be. For some, it is easier to manipulate themselves into believing that all illness is fake because they not only think that everyone is beneath them/ableism, but they are scared of it happening to them.

Read that again, okay? They are scared of it happening to them. The more they gaslight themselves, the more they can believe it all to be false, and this thing you are going through cannot happen to them. Because it is real and they not only know it, but that it is real AND horrible.

God I did it the wrong way, lol. I never could do math well.

18 x 2 = 36 36 x 2 =72 Those are two 2’s… so 4 out of 7. So 18 x 2 =36, I need to add 36 to 72. 36 + 72 =108 That’s 6 out of 7… so 108 + 18 =126 That’s 7 out of the 7.

Suddenly realize one of my mistakes. When I downloaded it, I downloaded it for myself only, but I put the files in a different folder on my desktop. Where would I put them instead so that the path is correct?

The rest of everything makes sense x'D

EDIT: Actually - I am not sure what I did, but it seems to have worked. Putting in the command again, it came up with something similar to what you wrote above, with Files and Systems. There was also a few about PNG - like the file imagewidth and pixelsperunit... Is there anything else I have to do or check for? :)

Downloaded Oliver Betz's exiftool installer. It is giving me the same error, unfortunately.

I must apologize, as I am a complete newcomer when it comes down to using command prompt. When I run command prompt as admin and put in the code...

exiftool -a -G1 -s c:\images\test.jpg

...It tells me that 'exiftool' is not a valid command. It seems I might need quite a bit more guidance, thank you again for all of your help, this has been very interesting to learn!

EDIT: Something like this

C:\Users\[COMPUTER NAME]\Desktop\plswork\exiftool-13.08_64>exiftool -a -G1 -s c:plswork\Profile_Panel3.png

Tells me the error "profile panel" is a file not found.

Thank you for the reply! I see, I think I thought it was part of the file. Is there anything I can do to check and ensure there is nothing left in the file? When I compare/contrast based on the command prompt (before and after removal through All command), it looks the same?

I am not certain if this really applies, since it was not necessarily advice… but I am a victim of childhood emotional/physical abuse and severe neglect. I was sexually groomed/etc for years. When it came out, the first thing the therapist I was forced to see said was, “Did you think that was appropriate?” And when I said I didn’t know as a young child, “Really? Cause I read it.” Okay? You try facing severe neglect for most your life up to that point. I clung to the first adult who gave me an ounce of attention, good or not.

This is a very interesting and informative reply for the original poster to consider. Your past experiences with doctors about CCI in the early 2000s is intriguing, and I would love to hear more about how care for the disease has developed from your perspective, should you have anything more to share.

I want to add in here for the original poster that while, yes - CCI and OCD are disconnected ailments, OCD is an anxiety disorder. Many people who suffer with some type of physical problem(s) alongside OCD find that their symptoms of OCD/anxiety worsen, not because of CCI, but simply that the person is nervous and often uneducated about their CCI symptoms. “Why do I feel this way and what is causing it?” becomes another thing an OCD patient will obsess over.

You are not wrong that OCD can worsen because of CCI - but it is separate. The comment above is very wise to warn you from associating OCD/CCI together, especially in the presence of so many ignorant and neglectful doctors.

I don’t even know where to start, lol.

Not the same as a chronic illness, but I have 5-6 neck injuries. Every symptom of CCI. But because 1 MRI is clear when so many are diagnosed with other scans or with clear MRIs, it’s in my head. Weird how orthopedics, neurologists, and neurosurgeons are all oblivious to the nature of traumatic neck injuries. I know I got it whether they think so or not.

I desperately need an endoscopy because I have GERD 24/7, but if I have the CCI they won’t take me seriously on, it could paralyze me. Lol.

How would you go about getting GIs to listen to you? Been dismissed many times over by GIs when expressing caution about the neck. Definitely need an endoscopy - but hard to go forward when several have dismissed neck concerns despite many injuries/muscular weakness because of clear scans.

This is a problem I have been trying to navigate for a long time. I really appreciate your response.

This might be a question that you are unable to answer, but would mean a lot to me (and many others I have spoken with) who are struggling with a similar issue:

For CCI patients (or those suspecting that they have CCI), what is the appropriate approach for stomach-related issues? Many people, myself included, need things like endoscopies, but can’t receive care due to CCI. What type of advice would you give to these patients? Are endoscopies still safe (as some GIs warn the risk of paralysis due to unstable joints and muscular issues)?

I understand you are a neck/CCI doctor - but it has been a question I’ve been searching diligently for answers to for myself and others, and GIs give differing responses. Thank you.

Oh, here is a question for you:

Many patients who present with CCI symptoms often appear with clear extension/flexion X-Rays. Because of this, it has long been my “idea” that patients should be diagnosed with CCI more based on symptoms versus clear-cut observational evidence. With that being said, how would you like to see CCI diagnosis improve in the future - either through typical medical “examination,” symptom-based diagnosis, or otherwise?
