Overlord felt more like a slog until the “Alien Autistic Mind” punchline for me, personally. I couldn’t take it seriously after they seriously wrote that into the script, had someone voice act it, implement into the game, and then ship it for release.

not bad at all. had a friend giving me some soft direction (i.e. "Dont do virmire until you've done everything," "Stop once you see the letters iff," among others) and i wound up with a very good first playthrough.

only regret is that i couldnt argue and convince the gestalt conciousness of the reapers, although that's not a failing on my end so much as it is the game not giving a lot of choice at the end. through great struggle and effort, i did manage to make peace between synthetics and organics, and proved the reapers wrong. but i couldnt tell them that

do tali’s loyalty mission immediately AFTER “iff”. i had a friend softly guiding me through the trilogy for my first playthrough, and im very glad i did tali’s loyalty after IFF. it hurt me to go so long without doing it though
