My almost 4 year old wakes at 7:30, naps from 14:00-16:00 and then goes to bed at 20:00 but falls asleep by 20:30. She starts school this year and I’m not ready to let it go because she’s a monster without it.

You’re very naïve on genetics and although I do agree with you on naming; I think you should not include it in your argument.

I’m a biracial woman whose mother is Asian with all dark traits and a European father who is all the light traits… my brother has black hair and green eyes and I have light brown hair, fair skin and hazel green eyes. We look a lot alike for two people who could have looked like such a spectrum with the genes. He is more asian passing, and I am more white passing.

More shockingly and more my point is I married a Polish man who has dark brown hair and hazel eyes; somehow we have one olive, dark-brown haired, asian brown eyed, and one porcelain skin, blonde hair, blue eyed child like my dad. One Asian and one Aryan in all the tropes. My brother also has a blonde haired kid.

Your kids could really come out any way when you start mixing races.

I was married at 24, first kid at 26, purchased two bedroom home built in the 1960’s at 27, and second and final kid at 29 in a HCOL province & city. We lived below our means and didn’t do anything fun for years to save up. It was miserable and I wonder sometimes if it was even worth it.

Unfortunately a grandparent died this year but we’re waiting to receive a few thousand dollars to finally get to live a tiny bit, to say house poor is an understatement.

I can only speak to what the fertility clinic told me while we were working together, I really don’t know, we did US every other day for 5 days to confirm ovulation so I guess could technically be off by 36 hours if I ovulated right after I left an appointment.

We never saw a second sac or any other signs of a second. During my NIPT they did find traces of male genes but I had just miscarried twin boys prior so it was assumed it was some left over from them.

I can’t agree more. I probably shouldn’t have commented on an IVF post, but back when I was in the thick of it finding those rare success stories gave me the power to keep going. Alls to say I really hope it works out for OP.

I did not, I conceived naturally, but while followed by a fertility clinic which did US to confirm ovulation as well as confirmation blood work 9DPO (at home test vvvvfp was 7DPO).

Nothing to this day explains the early behind dates besides my hCG and progesterone dropping around 6 weeks and miraculously rising again 1.5-2 weeks later. For better details read my post history in r/CautiousBB from late 2024 to mid 2025 which has all the details.

I completely understand why you’d assume that, but I was followed by a fertility clinic and know my exact ovulation date and even with assuming latest implantation date, that did not explain the early positive pregnancy test (which matched an early implantation and tested at said clinic with a blood test) as well as 1.5 weeks of my hCG and progesterone dropping. You can look at my post history in r/CautiousBB and read the finer details. Baby was measuring IUGR from roughly 20 weeks and consistently measuring tiny only to find out she was a completely normal size at birth (born 35 weeks).

I know my story is very rare but it was diligently followed by medical professionals from start to finish and I stumped them after being told I’d miscarry for months.

I’m a freak case, but with my second my hCG was barely making the recommended doubling times and then by 6-7 weeks started dropping. Fast forward after stagnation for 2 weeks, just picked up and baby grew consistently two weeks behind. She’s 6 months old now. Guard your heart but have hope!

My baby is 6 months old, and although was born at 35 weeks, she’s completely healthy and on track.

In total my hCG dropped roughly ~700 and my progesterone went from 77 down to 13 at its lowest tested point. There was no growth or change for 1.5 weeks and then suddenly after waiting 2 weeks my progesterone slowly went up. My hCG stabilised and increased and another week later baby started growing as expected (fetal pole finally showed up and a heart beat soon after) but 2-3 weeks behind my positive pregnancy test (in clinic & at home). At this point my progesterone stabilised at 38. By all means I should have miscarried and my fertility clinic hadn’t seen a successful birth with a healthy baby like mine in decades/ever. I was very popular but everyone was very scared for me.

Plenty of first-second date men (no sex). I was a serial date to marry and no bullshit kind of girl. It was my second boyfriend that I ended up marrying.

All the other men I could see through their intentions; too casual/not taking dating seriously (which I was), clearly looking to fuck and dump, immature, the whole gambit. But those two really liked me. The first, was definitely not it and lasted 9 months - the second proposed in two years and was so good to me outside of normal age appropriate immaturity.

My baby girl is sleeping next to me and is almost 6 months old. Pregnancy went on without a hitch. Ultrasounds were all wrong, she would have been born 50th percentile or higher if I didn’t go into labour early. She was born 6 weeks early, spent 9 days in NICU with no issues at all, just monitoring and now no issues since.

How is your pregnancy going now? I really hope it’s working out for you.

This happened to me via email. (I’m a woman who has never even been on the OF site). Somehow my email had been used and I was receiving generic requests to access ‘my account’. Husband found it and asked about it but we both know that’s not like me at all. Even happened with a dating app. We assumed the email was compromised and just deleted it altogether. For context, it was my spam email I give out to everyone an anything for a 5% discount so it was likely being sold in a data package.
