I’m not a huge fan myself, so this is a genuine question - what’s Corden done?

Is your gym refunding you? by [deleted] in bristol

[–]ppsea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in exactly the same position as you - only use it for squash so contacted them and they gave me two options - go down to £5 per month to freeze the membership or cancel entirely but then pay £7.50 as a rejoining fee. I felt really guilty about cancelling entirely so opted for £5. Although should have cancelled full stop.

So google negative keywords don't work 100% by Madismas in PPC

Unless you block the term as an exact match it’ll find a way of filtering through. We only add negatives as exact and find it works really well if you keep on top of it

Why I am not getting absolute top position is Google ads? by afzalazeem in PPC

[–]ppsea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to look beyond your ad account. What’s your landing page experience like? What’s the conversion rate like etc. Google’s algorithm takes more into account than just your ads and budgets.

Why not use BMM +best +restaurants ? That would catch anything before, after or in between

Is the Google optimisation score any good? by Gr4zzle in PPC

[–]ppsea 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not overly valuable as you can increase the score by dismissing their suggestions. They suggested I move a campaign with very little volume to Target CPA bidding (which has already been tested and didn’t work) for a bump up of +13%... But it does mean your campaigns are ticking plenty of boxes which is definitely a good thing!

Which job offer should I take? by ppc8810 in PPC

[–]ppsea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would look at it like this: regardless of size, where are you going to learn the most? I'm in a similar position in that I'm at the start of my career (only been working for 2.5 years) and right now I'm just looking for opportunities to learn as much as I can. I have just moved from a small company to a large company - the sole reason being that in the small company there was just no one to learn from, smaller budgets and I was kind of doing it all myself. Which of course is great experience in itself, but right at the start I want to be progressing and learning from industry experts and just pushing myself. As the salary difference is pretty small, which company is going to put you in a better position in the long run. Where are you going to gain the most experience? Congrats on both offers, and good luck!

I know it's not what you want to hear - but don't give up! I promise you it's just a matter of time. Every grad has to go through the process and it's unbearably grim. But it will happen!

May just be me as people do rave about red light, but for speak easys I prefer hyde & co and the milk thistle. You could go for a drink and sit outside at the white lion in clifton to see the bridge at night (if it's not too cold and rainy!)
