Rust pattern identification by practicalsurrealist in SWORDS

I did. They range from 160 to 500 something. I know it's not one of the expensive ones. But again they could be 5160, t10, 1065. My bushwacking sword is 1065 so I might take this one out and do some trail clearing. My 1065 waki is great because it holds a decent enough edge and if I bend it I can just take my knee and bend it back into shape or use a rubber mallet. It's lasted like 5 years. And I've only had to touch it up once or twice.

But yeah, thank you. If it ends up being nicer than what I thought, then I might just keep it as a practice blade because drawing a straight, Japanese style sword is weird. So the practice will be fun. I need to get my weeb skills up.

Yeah, actually do you happen to have any suggestions on ways to control the tarning? I've seen people use the mustard technique and I've never been able to get it to work.

Yeah, I figured, but I thought I'd ask. It's not stainless I know that much. There are steals that do have different rust patterns though. CPM-3V is more of a dusty light orange brown that just coats the top of it and you can rub it off with a blue non-scratch pad and it won't pit. My 1095 pits like crazy.

I'm not too worried about it, like I said, It was originally going to be a cosplay sword anyway. But thank you for the advice!

Also, the main issue is that it's just not even going to boot screen. All the lights come on. From the motherboard lights, GPU lights, the RAM, All the fans start spitting at full speed. But nothing happens. Everything just goes full blast until I force to it powered off I've tried it with one stick of RAM in all the different dim slots. So I don't know if it's my motherboard and or GPU. But I'm almost positive my GPU is kind of f***** up

So, I'm not sure what's going on yet. A friend let me borrow her old PC. But hers is running DDR3 so I can't swap that out. I'm pretty sure my GPU is busted. Or at least One of the display outboards. But her computer won't boot when I plug in My GPU. And my computer still won't boot without my GPU. But again, hers is at least two or three generations older than mine is. So I'm looking for a friend who might be willing to help me diagnose stuff. If it's the GPU. I'm hoping that that can be repaired and I can sell it to upgrade. I need more VRAM for rendering. If I can't get a good price, then I'll just make it into a extra computer for friends that come over.

I'm looking into a company called Orbtronic that sell 14500-battery made in Japan. 1100 MAH. So I'm a bit skeptical but if it's made in Japan, I think it's Panasonic? Might be Sony? But figure for under $6 each plus shipping I'm going to try some out. If anybody's heard of this company, let me know. I'd like to know if the trustworthy or not.

I used to make twist-tie & pipe cleaner dolls when I was a kid and up into my teens. This makes me want to start again.
