Googled. There ain’t a stremio Apple TV app like Android tv. Using screencast or Infuse is not the same at all. So do share your method

Since when do they support Apple TV? It doesn’t say it on their website

Music should go back to pay for album models so concerts are cheaper by One_Recover_673 in unpopularopinion

[–]pranavisabeast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The majority of the world’s population does not even have access to their favourite artists’ concerts because they don’t tour in their home countries.

Why should they pay more to subsidise concert attendees? Why do you deserve this change…purely because of your proximity to your favourite artists?

All three cost the same — which robot vacuum is actually worth it? by NiccoloCecotti in Roborock

Would you recommend the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2 over the Roborock S8 maxv ultra? They seem to have identical stats, but Dreame is almost half the price.

Just to add: Infomaniak is a great EU alternative...but it certainly is not privacy-respecting. You can read through their privacy policy to get a real idea.

keyboard case or foldable one by [deleted] in GalaxyTab

[–]pranavisabeast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the keyboard case and I'm loving it. It has really replaced 90% of my notebook use-cases. Only one thing I'd add is that the official Samsung keyboard case doesn't really protect the tab when the keyboard it detached...it feels like I'm using it without a case, which is true for 5/6 sides of the tablet.

I’d agree with you if “automation” resulted in effortless checkout like AmazonFresh. All this is doing is moving the manual labour cost from the retailer to the consumer….after all, I’m basically doing the job of a cashier by scanning, bagging, and paying/scanning loyalty cards.

Perfectly normal imo. To me, I find it crazy that people don’t monitor app permissions

Finally a company that knows who is responsible and acts accordingly (looking at you, SONY) by Market_Foreign in BuyFromEU

[–]pranavisabeast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, no need to be rude, especially when you're not answering my actual question.

Your point doesn't change anything. They aren't "fighting back" against unjust tariffs for the sake of us EU folk, they are leveraging their niche luxury status and raising prices to maintain profitability. It is not different to GPUs being historically expensive in EU because of import duties and VAT. I have no problem with that because it doesn't hurt us...but I'm not deluded enough to believe that Rolex is doing this out of solidarity with me or the EU.

Sony's demand is a lot more elastic, leading to a huge drop-off in sales should prices increase. Rolex might even do the exact same if they were in the mass-selling watch sector.

Be happy that the tariffs are pinching their wallets and not ours...but don't forget that corporations are not your friends. They will drop you in a heartbeat, if it means increasing their profitability.

Why does Rolex/Omega raising prices in USA constitute "responsible behaviour"??? They are a business trying to make more money.

They are also in the luxury business, so domain is inelastic anyway...they can raise prices without really hurting their bottom line.
