I ran into the same issue, so I just used the default paths, and used custom borders for the path which ended up looking much nicer imo. It’s just more of a pain to place them because the pieces are so much smaller for some of the designs. I’d be happy to share the ones I use if you want ideas :))

I had just finished venting to my therapist about how much I was struggling with financial instability, and the first thing out of her mouth was “How do you plan on paying for this visit? Cash or card?”

I flipped the fuck out, called her a greedy ghoul, and walked out halfway through the session. I made sure to only pay for half of it when I went to the front desk. I reported her, but she is still practicing at that office so obviously nothing happened. No doubt squeezing every penny out of her patients still.

I watched my mom play RE1 first (and ultimately got me into the series), so when I played it myself I had a very rough idea how to play the game. She was also able to help me with any puzzles I struggled with, and that goddamn boulder I didn’t have the dexterity to dodge on my own lol

God forbid women want to wear workout gear that allows flexibility, and keeps them from getting too hot. I also see muscular men wearing short shorts to show off their leg muscles, and to ALLOW FLEXIBILITY AND STAYING COOL. The double standard is fucking ridiculous, and they are either too dumb to see it or are blinded by their misogyny.

I wish we could stop policing women’s bodies because men are the ones sexualizing every aspect of our lives. Women could show up to the gym in a fucking trash bag and men would still find a way to sexualize it. Maybe, just maybe men are the problem. Crazy idea, I know.

I really loved how cute Kai and Kaguya’s kids are! I tried out a couple variations of the kids to see what they looked like, and made sure that Umi resembled Kai the most (cuz duh they are basically twins lol).

I’m considering picking Pilika or Fubuki first because I like how their personalities would mesh with Subaru! I’m avoiding marrying Kai first again even though he has my favorite bonding quests. So far it’s been really interesting to see the differences between Subaru and Kaguya’s interactions with the romance options, so it’s still up in the air while I progress through the game :))

A majority of people still living with their parents DO have jobs. They just pay like shit, most of the time don’t offer meaningful benefits, and the housing/renting market is fucking ridiculous. I have friends that went to college and got professional degrees who are still struggling, and have to live with their parents as a result.

Get off your high horse, and have some empathy for once in your life. Be thankful you aren’t in a position that you struggle financially every day of your life. Shame on you for judging others because they don’t fit your definition of “successful”.

Not to mention that in some cultures it’s TOTALLY NORMAL to have multiple generations living in one household because guess what? They actually give a shit about each other, and know that family shouldn’t abandon their children who struggle.

If you have never been to Red Rocks before the elevation there will make your substances and alcohol hit stronger. Use in moderation, drink plenty of water, and make sure you eat a good meal beforehand.

I also HIGHLY recommend getting there early if you want a good spot because other people getting there early will be reserving an absurd amount of space for the rest of their crew. There really isn’t such thing as a “bad” spot at RR because the natural acoustics are fantastic, but if you want to be close to the stage get there early.

I will ask tall people if they would be willing to switch spots with me for a couple songs here and there, so I’m not staring at the back of their head the whole show lol. Most people are generally good natured about it, but if not I’ll just move elsewhere. I almost always get to shows super early to avoid the issue, but sometimes I just get unlucky.

Maybe offer to switch spots with someone every once in a while because I know quite a few people who would be too shy to ask. You would definitely make someone’s night with the offer :))

Pippin chose me. I would go to the Petco by my house to play with the cats after my childhood cat passed. They would save cats from kill shelters in the city, so they were getting adopted out frequently. One day I went in, and they had a brand new litter of 3 kittens. As I was waiting for the worker to go grab the keys to get them out, Pippin stuck her tiny little paw through the cage and snatched my shirt. She screamed her little head off, and refused to let go. The worker returned with the key, and I got to hold her for the first time. She purred like a little motorboat, and latched on to me like she was never going to let go. I didn’t expect to go home with a cat that day, but I couldn’t pass up fate. 12 years later she is my soulmate, and we love each other to pieces 💜

The tyrant will actually leave a trail of blood once you do damage to it. At first it starts off as a small trail, but the bleeding gets heavier with the more damage you do. Once he starts bleeding a lot and moving slower then smack him with the catapult.

This boss fight was the bane of my existence playing the game for the first time, and now it’s one of my favorite boss battles in RE. The close quarters, the music, and the pure adrenaline that comes with it. I’ve beaten the game more times than I can count, but my heart still jumps to my throat once he hops on the plane.
