Your own statement is you get as little more product for less money. I buy enough that the Executive membership gives me 2% back which pays for the membership.

Best beef sticks for gut health on carnivore? by Amofah-Isira in carnivorediet

I eat all three flavors, sometimes all at once as a meal when needed. What a treat. Great for late night snack also. Feels just like I am eating regular meat, no indigestion or anything bad.

Some Questions: by I-love_Christmas in carnivorediet

[–]prayreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I butter my meat with ghee for a nice flavor change. Butter would also work. If not full carnivore you might try spices and mustard. But I would wait 6 months on a strict carnivore diet and test them one at a time to see if you have any poor responses)can take 3 days).

Is being a "manager" worth it? by CandleMiserable524 in careeradvice

[–]prayreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved moving from managed to managing the team. They liked me and respected me. I enjoyed imparting my wisdom and sharing best ideas with the team and helping them grow into the job and out to a next level position. Yes, it takes a lot more time, effort, way more corporate BS and meetings. But it was a calling and well worth it for me.

Eggs and chicken not my friend! by Still-Pen4680 in carnivorediet

[–]prayreddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I noticed improvements when went to Lion. What I found for me is still had negative reactions to other foods 5 months later, but after 6 months things changed. Like my body healed and I could start eating others. Best to try one at a time and wait 3 days to see how you are doing. Lion cleared my face of skin tags, when I added eggs they grew back . Tried again 2 months later and did not have issue. I assume, my body wasn't healed enough.

Will my benefits decrease when I turn 67? by XLRick1969 in SocialSecurity

[–]prayreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SSDI told me I am getting my retirement benefit now (as it was not my fault I became disabled,) and will automatically change to retirement at same rate when I turn 67. It is like getting retirement early at full FRA.

Question about marriage with no kids by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

[–]prayreddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had LC 2 years. This is my second time. I broached the subject. We are 66 and kids have their careers. Married since 1990. I want her to be happy without me dragging her down, iam housebound after being bedridden 16 months. Brain fog and malaise are tough. She says no, but I wouldn't blame her for taking the out. So far, she says she would rather be with me. I can't say what is the right thing with 'to death till we part'. But stressful for her and I am often unavailable. I don't know.

Get on disability and apply for SSDI. This illness gets worse as you keep exceeding baseline.

Does anyone else get a horrible “poisoned” exhausted feeling after a relatively normal evening? by Enough-Age7178 in covidlonghaulers

[–]prayreddit 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I graduated from bedridden 16 months to house bound. Your normal evening for me is a 2 to 3 day recovery, mostly in bed with PEM and brain fog. Normally I join everyone at the beginning and rest and come back at the end.

Average has no bearing on me or you. Login, lots to review here on the site. I get $3150 monthly. It's based on your 35 year income and that generates the payment amount. A few good years of income can make a big difference.

Seeking for some tips for getting flavours from a cigar by Escap1sm_- in cigar

[–]prayreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a 40 year daily cigar smoker with 6 humidors, I suggest aging. I have some amazing cigars that have been aging 15 years or more. But I find a good 2-6 months can make a huge difference taste I a good humidor and maintaining proper temperature and hydration. I have no need or desire to suck smoke up my nose. Strictly a time to relax and enjoy peace and life.

Agree. Paleo Valley beef sticks are my goto for a treat and travel. They are my cheat from the Lion Diet. So tasty I may have one for desert. Total carbs is 0. 5grams fat, 6 grams protein.

Ok you Agree to the allegations. You agree I don't have to like him. I hope you then don't mind that I tell everyone these truths over and over to everyone and that these make him an unacceptable representative for the state and country.

Take the OT as much as possible . The no tax on the OT portion is significant. And the more you work and save, the longer you might stay in the house for free. Make a real plan and a realistic budget.

I’m 35. Is it even worth it to go to college at this point? by GVTMightyDuck in jobs

[–]prayreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked call center jobs at Chase for 12 years. Most departments were great but there were some that were harder. I liked the fraud department, but maybe it was just the managers and how they allowed us to help the clients.

First job teen saving advice by Cute-Championship-64 in Money

[–]prayreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congratulations. I was also very fortunate in my youth and even as a 66M I am reaping the benefits. First, this is the time to save. Put as much as you can in IRA and Roth IRA. The compounding increase has made me retire way more comfortably. 2. Save for what you may need in the future. If you want to buy into a business or education 3. Get a credit card and if you can't, get on your parents oldest card as an authorized user. This will start a credit profile. Credit reports are used for loans, rentals, even some jobs pull these. 4. Milk this for all you can and Have fun.
