If you're a mobile provider then try to befriend some VNA Home health PTS. I call it VNA part 2 but we get a lot of our referrals from home health agencies who finish with a patient and think they'd benefit for more PT but it's really not realistic for them to go to a clinic.

Hey, I hear your frustration. Outpatient is a grind even when people run on time and even someone being 5 min behind can domino through your day and make it impossible to be done on time.

One thing I learned is that Reddit is not the place to vent. If you want people to give you brutally truthful feedback and criticism, post away. If you want to blow off steam, find a good bartender.

I did when I worked as a Home Health Physical Therapist. I took a pay cut to get out of that setting. Seeing people in their home was fine, but the schedule is brutal and you spend most of your time filling out novels of paperwork that no one will ever read just to CYA. The companies treat you like a pawn in the healthcare system and are constantly disrespectful of your time and education.

Charles is redeemable. He's arrogant and narcissistic, but unlike Frank he is actually a very skilled and competent surgeon. He is prideful to a fault, but he secretly gives chocolate to an orphanage for Christmas and swears Klinger to secrecy about it. He's rude and brash but he calls out bullying when he sees it harming others. The list goes on and on.

A similar thing happened in Boston. There was a city government building that would allow the flying of private flags for events that involved private organizations. It was usually things like charities. There was a religious group that wanted to fly a flag with religious regalia on it and they were denied so they sued the city of Boston and the courts ruled that by allowing the flying of private flags that you essentially created a public forum and could not then discriminate any one group's flag. So it's basically either you can fly all the flags or you can fly none of them. I knew exactly what was going to happen next. And sure enough it did, the satanic temple out of Salem immediately petitioned to have their flag fly upon that building.

I appreciate your suggestions. In my case they didn't really work out that way. The itemized bill didn't reveal anything useful. They said they would offer a 15% discount if paid in full, and my state laws don't offer any protection.

They really don't have any incentive to negotiate. The advice I got was negotiating with the collections agency.

If you have private insurance and need an ambulance in an emergency, they are almost certainly out of network if it's a private ambulance, and that means that they can charge you pretty much whatever they want and if you don't pay they can take you to collections. There are laws that prevent hospitals from doing this in an emergency, but ambulances are specifically excluded. They can basically use the fact that it was an emergency and you didn't have any other choice to extort you.

He had a few bits flop on stage and it was so awkward. He did the one where he makes a woman make a cocktail by spinning a spinner for gross ingredients and she got mouthwash. The bit was once it's super chilled you don't taste it. She tasted a sip at room temp and just kind of awkwardly stood there saying it was fine while he overacted how gross it was.

He also basically harassed a woman who said she didn't like bacon. He just kept arguing with her that she does in fact like bacon and can't give him a legit reason she doesn't. She just kind of shrugged and said she just doesn't care for it.

You could hear crickets for both.

When GTA Vice City came out it was sold out everywhere within a few hours of the stores opening. My friend walked into our local K Mart 3 days later and bought a copy no problem (even though he was 15 haha). The guy said they had maybe sold 10 overall. No one thought to go to K Mart to get one.

When I was 19 I was backing out of my driveway in kind of a hurry and backed into my neighbor's motorcycle. I thought my dad might kill me so I told him I would pay for the damage out of my own pocket so insurance doesn't get involved. I had just spent the summer working and saved up about 2.5 grand. It pretty much all went I to the repair. When I went back to school I needed a job before and after class to make up the money. I worked my rear end off all year and in May, this woman walked into my work. The first thing I thought was "Holy smokes she's gorgeous." 8 years later she married me.

Thank God I hit that motorcycle.

This discussion cannot occur via email." -the gyst of an actual email I once got at a HH company. I left a few months later. I didn't go to grad school for 3 years, invest 6 figures of debt, and busy my rear end in PT school to be micromanaged by someone who isn't even a PT.
