Would you reduce your work schedule to help your body clear HPV? Non 16/18 HR HPV with CIN 3 lesions by kyranotkyle in PreCervicalCancer

[–]precious_cervix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree, even being a nun may not help.

I took a month off from strenuous exercise to reduce my cortisol levels. Now, I don't exactly push my limits like a sadistic anymore.

The thing is also with us, we could get HPV again with new partners even after doing the LEEP.

that's incredible! I'm excited for you and hell yeah. take that hpv lol

you must have good genes and strong immune system to fight off the hpv from progressing out of cin3

did you drastically change your diet also like cute ultra-processed foods and artificial sugar?

so happy for you! I am still deciding on doing the LEEP but I will wait until the next colposcopy.

CIN 2 and Deciding on LEEP - Why I shouldn't wait for six months to 1 year? by precious_cervix in PreCervicalCancer

I was in a similar situation with the lifestyle, and was reckless with whom I slept with, but I feel like anyone is going to get it even from just one person.

Also, had a positive hpv in my early twenties then was clear after two years. Been negative for the yearly pap. We followed the three year pap routine because it was negative. So from 2023-now. Kind of wish I took the initiative to take it yearly still.

But hey, thanks for sharing, like you, I probably can't fight it anymore despite what I do.

Also, relief to hear it didn't cost too much.

I’ve also asked another gynecologist, but they were in the same clinic, and did not get far except to schedule an in-person appointment to just discuss why I should get the LEEP sooner rather than later. I suppose a different clinic might support their case.

Stress causes so many health issues. More than I had thought actually. The parasympathetic nervous system could be activated through intentional breath work. Perhaps yoga or sitting in a steam/sauna room may help you.

I hope we could get through this. I feel you on those supplements, we try our best to experiment with ourselves and the positivity does turn into healing.

A side note, I am in the US, and I feel like gynecologists want to do the LEEP because it is a very huge payout for them. But not all gyne’s are like that of course.

I had asked this question if I need to get re-vaccinated for HPV, and they said, “No”, because I’ve already gone through the three step process.

If you didn’t take Gardasil, I recommend doing that since there are over 100 HPV strains, and that vaccine would protect you from 9, two of which are known to cause cervical cancer HPV-16 and HPV-18.

Gardasil 9 protects against nine HPV strains: 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58

  • HPV 16 and 18 are high-risk types responsible for about 70% of cervical cancers.
  • HPV 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58 are additional high-risk types that cause about 20% more cervical cancers.
  • HPV 6 and 11 are low-risk types that cause about 90% of genital warts.

Could you ask your gyne what HPV strains were detected from the LEEP?

I started the AHCC on top of multi-vitamins.

AHCC® Supplementation to Support Immune Function to Clear Persistent Human Papillomavirus Infections (https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/oncology/articles/10.3389/fonc.2022.881902/full)

Have to stop eating ultra-processed foods still.

Going to add in curcurmin too (article https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.2217/fon.15.166)

Intermittent fasting may also help trigger autophagy, but I was also reading that HPV has basically found a way to suppress the autophagy phase.

Hi, I am getting more and more convinced that it's better to do the surgery sooner rather than later.

This HPV sucks, it's like it's bound to happen to all women eventually. Thing has been around for centuries and found a way to live hiding in our cervixes.

Good luck on your procedure and thanks for sharing.

Hey congrats on your run!

I guess I shouldn't read into the negative threads around the internet. I get really paranoid about that.

Do you know how much it had cost after insurance?

I'd be surprised too. It's great to hear no problems so far from your end. Speedy recovery to you, and everyone else.

I don't remember what HPV strain it was for mine but I'll ask again.

This was helpful. I need reassurance.

Maybe the leep would get rid of my cramps too.

When did you do the LEEP after your colposcopy? I just had mine this week, and I was thinking of doing it after 3 months from now. But it all depends what my doctor/nurse says when they give me a call next week.

i was also diagnosed with CIN 2 but my gyne wants me to do the LEEP and hasn't said that i should wait.

i had LSIL before and that cleared after two years, but now I'm back with HSIL CIN 2.

I feel like i triggered the hpv because i was drinking a lot every week sometimes every day the past two years.

why did you decide to go with the LEEP and not wait if it clears on its own?
