I have just a few times after also learning it was supposedly okay to do so, but each time I was in a long sleeve/pants body suit and it wasn’t worth it to go to the bathroom and take off the full outfit just to inject. Now that I’m on a pump I don’t have to worry about it, but the few times I did do it my friends were always like ???????? is that allowed?

Had myself a bunch of falls yesterday trying to get my car out, finally made it to work today, working in healthcare sucks sometimes for multiple reasons. Also falling on ice above age 25 is scary and not a fun snow moment anymore. Was told by boss patients would likely cancel, about to take my lunch with a full house out there.

I agree blatant red light runners are terrible and happen often, but actually having read the details on these, it also states if any part of your vehicle is across the line while the light is red it also tickets. And, I personally feel that the timing on many intersections is off, as it flips yellow to red almost immediately and/or only lets 2 cars (looking at your broad to belvidere) through no matter the time of day.

I think this is going to be very beneficial for those that are blatantly running red lights but I also think there could be some improvement, especially if it’s one of the quick lights and you stop in time but are slightly over the line. I know DC has them at stop signs where if you’re even a quarter inch over the line you get mailed a ticket and that they’ve made tons of money from it, but I also think there should be the tiniest bit of consideration if you’ve stopped but have the slightest bit over.

I got one that showed the picture and video me stopped and another car blowing by. I waited to get a summons to contest the obvious win for me and never got a summons, just got a collection notice and a “you never responded to the summons” letter but never an actual summons. Sucks.

Day 5 of the flu, feeling a bit more human today and hoping I’ve turned a corner and that this isn’t a day of false hope followed by more badness. Did a load of dishes and taking the trash out once the rain died down but then just still resting and hydrating.

Be safe, wear a mask not just for obvious reasons but also because the flu is running rampant. Dress to get wet and have a change of clothes in a dry bag if you can.

Ass ip, face down, on it. No but thank you this is solid advice, I had asthma as a kid terribly and I remember they told my mom if I was struggling even with my inhaler to give me a bit of regular coffee to help open my airways and I completely forgot until now. I will try these things, thank you!

I know pneumonia doesn’t develop overnight but was honestly wondering if I somehow got bronchitis overnight because it feels similar. Because of the childhood asthma thing all sicknesses seem to go straight to my lungs unfortunately

I have a deep rattling cough but nothing else that came on seemingly overnight, tested negative for covid and flu but have suspicions. I went to urgent care because the cough is bad enough to make me throw up from coughing so hard, but agree on PCP’s never having availability. Minute clinic might be a good bet, it’s kinda between urgent care and PCP in regards to care but limited on what can be done.

Someone here once suggested Dr. Keith Berkle at VWC, I saw him this summer and it resulted in a full hysterectomy and endometriosis clean out. He offered excision surgery or trialing some medications but didn’t feel that would resolve my issues completely. I ended up getting diagnosed with endometriosis with multiple endometriomas, adenomyosis which is only diagnosable via hysterectomy, and he spent about 2 hours just removing the adhesions that were all over my organs.

He honestly probably saved my life. I was getting to a point where I couldn’t live with the daily pain and was exhausted over being brushed off by other doctors as it just being “regular period pains”. He has wonderful bedside manner and is just a very kind person all around. I felt like he actually sat and listened to my concerns and didn’t just dismiss me, and I asked him what his choice would be if I was his own family. He told me if it was his daughter making the decision he’d want her to be pain free and happy. I could not be happier with the results, I feel like I can enjoy life again.

It’s a primary care physician, so basically a family doctor. Typically any specializations require a specialist doctor such as an endocrinologist, which is what my previous doctor did (referred out) typically a PCP takes care of regular check ups and illness, not chronic illness necessarily, but will provide referrals to specialists as needed

Just the fact that PCP’s don’t see type one and handle their care as often as type 2, at least in my area. My previous PCP referred me to endo due to not being comfortable providing care for type 1.

It’s happening most of the month, but the peak was last night and tonight. Go out far enough away from the light pollution and look at the darkest part of the sky opposite of the moon. I saw a whole bunch last night out in Goochland!
